Pat really needs to re-evaluate his biases. The fact that he's anti-magic limits his ranged options considerably. Hunters tools come in handy. If you're not into damage-dealing the buffs are nice. He also doesn't use a gun for anything beyond trying to get a riposte in and his timing is so bad he rarely gets it. Even nerfed the cannon would have helped against the gatling gun dude or the big axe dude. His reflexive dodge backwards against an enemy that has a long-reaching vertical swing is puzzling. Pat doesn't have nearly enough stats pumped into strength to make the scaling on his sword work for him.

+GatsuManKiller My build was 27 str and 33 skill and I was able to go through mostly the entire DLC with the Stake Driver and when I found the church pick it was like falling in love all over again.

+GatsuManKiller In Woolie's defense, their philosophy is pretty much "If it aint broke, don't fix it." They have more time with the GS and they don't with the new stuff. There's a reason they stuck with the beginning axe for the whole game.

This is LP is great now. I thought Pat was going to breeze through this dlc since he was so high level going into this, but I was so wrong. Now that he's dying a lot and making excuses for every reason that he's screwing up, I'm laughing my ass off and having a great time watching. Watching Pat flounder like a dying fish is comedic gold my friends. I can't wait for the last boss...
