Once there was a boy named Wander, who fell in love with a local known as Mono. After an untimely death, Wander was given a chance by an mysterious spirit known as Dormin to save his beloved, that led into a fantastic and magical adventure into a whole new world. Featuring Wander, Agro, and Mono, versus the Colossi and the meanest, nastiest, and most outrageous Disney(?) villian of all: Lord Emon. It's the classic story that critics are calling, "A fucking joke" and "a kick in the balls for anyone that played this game".

Okay, let's be honest here, who would even like to do a movie like this? Lionsgate?!? I bet Lionsgate would love a movie like this.
Join Matt, Pat and Woolie as they explore the Forbidden Lands and kill some colossi because some auto-tune asshole is telling us it'll revive this very important dead girl. Will they have what it takes to accomplish such a feat? Or will the stunningly beautiful graphics ruin the atmosphere before they can? So, so in the Shadow of the Colossus movie, it has to end with Wander killing the single solitary colossus. He returns to Mono's corpse and she wakes up to see he's all evil looking and shit, and that's when Mono's drunk dad and several guards come in to be like "Kill him!" and then Wander activates his Colossus Trigger and kills them all except for Mono's drunk dad, because Mono stops him and then convinces him to power down with the power of love. Tell me that's not how the guy writing the script with "Skips stone angrily" would have ended the movie.

So, hear me out. As the game progresses, the collossi start to look less and less like natural monster just roaming around and more like war platforms and soldiers. Basically 16 living weapons. This might lend to the explanation of why Malus cannot move. Whatever ancient civilization built all the ruins in this world never finished building him, going to far as to leave what could very well be scaffolding around his legs.

You know, when Matt kept going on about how the awful leaked live action script version of Wander is "such a Final Fantasy character", I was initially kinda pissed like "Matt, what the hell do you think a Final Fantasy character sounds like?" But then it hit me "Oh. It's every main character after FF7 with the exception of maybe FF9", and I got more sad than angry.

To me the thing with the Forbidden land being kinda 'open' like that (with an access bridge and such) before Wander snuck in was because Dormin COULD be useful to that culture in the future. I mean he does grant wishes that are powerful enough to bring someone back to life as it's demonstrated in the game. I imagine there was probably people in favor and against having Dormin being accessible in any way, so there's all those contingencies like the destructible bridge and such. Once everything went to hell because Wander walked in there without approval, they just let it all be sealed and went back home to deal with the fallout.

I just realized that with Malus, since you work so hard to get to his weak spot, it's no problem to just unleash on him. Just constant stabbing with less interference than the other colossi. Also, when he dies, I think he might look like he's the most in pain. It's kinda interesting like he's the most powerful colossus, but once you get the opportunity, you kill him in no time and he doesn't just fall over like the others.
