A really under-appreciated aspect about this track is that unlike previous areas, which represent the theme of the Dastardly Bomber that rules over it, this track doesn't really represent Plasma Bomber so much as it does Bomberman himself. The track opening with a leitmotif of the game's title theme makes it obvious; This is Bomberman in his finest hour. The way the track goes on after the first loop with its ups, downs, twists, turns and spirals really conveys the urgency of the situation, the feeling of our hero blasting through his final opponent's stronghold, navigating through all the tricks and traps laid out for him. By contrast, Planet Scrapheap, the theme for Plasma Bomber's stage in the much later Super Bomberman R is undeniably his; a slow, plodding mechanical track fit for that universe's depiction of him as a once-beloved hero betrayed by those he protected, now little more than the ruler of an empire of scrap metal. But suddenly the track picks up in energy as if there is still life to be found, finishing with vocals crying out for him to remember who he once was.

Super Bomberman R was honestly a fantastic continuity reboot in a lot of ways, though Pretty Bomber being one of the lost sisters of the Bomberman Bros. instead of Bomberman's love interest was a bit odd. If there is one thing I loved about it, was the characterizations and familial dynamic of the Bombermen, and how it fused everything awesome about Super Bomberman 2 & 3, and had huge bosses which felt more like a cross between Bomberman 64 and 2D Bomberman. Also, imagine Baku Bomberman R or a remake of Bomberman 64.

This was my first Bomberman and still my favorite to play alone...... I remember 7 year old me agonizing at every level of this last zone, they weren't messing around with this final hazard

Solo es de memorizarte donde están, eso sí yo cuando lo jugaba a los 11 años me frustraba mucho muriendo a cada rato. En verdad todo el mapa es difícil y por eso es de mi favoritos
