omg i'm dying of laughter XD My dad and his entire family are born and bred Philadelphians. He raised me to be a Philly sports fan from BIRTH. So when this chaos first started happening, my dad's response was literally just "Yeah, that sounds about right for Philly." The thing outsiders have to understand about Philly and its sports fans is that we have always and forever existed under the weight of being absolute LOSERS. The Patriots have won a million SuperBowls. The 2018 SuperBowl was our first SB win. EVER. IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE SB. We pride ourselves on being proud of how much our teams SUCK, so when they WIN, we go absolutely NUTS. Also the rivalries that we form with other teams are unparalleled by literally ANYTHING. That cop was right - your friend would have gotten his ass kicked AT BEST and at worst it wouldn't have been pretty. i guess what I'm trying to say is that from an outsider's POV, Philly's reactions to these things is absolutely batshit insane. but to us....well, it's still pretty batshit insane and I don't condone any of the actual bad shit they did, but Philly fans are truly proud of showing off how absolutely crazy they'll become if our city finally, FINALLY rises from the ashes and succeeds at something. especially something as huge as the SuperBowl. anyway, writing this from the future, I am devastated that we didn't win again this year. Wanna know a theory I have? The Phillies won the World Series in 2008. The Eagles won the SuperBowl in 2018. I'm thinking there's a pattern, and that the Flyers (the team I watch the most - I'm a hockey fan more than anything) are gonna win the Stanley Cup in 2028. fantastic animation as always, and I look forward to all the videos to come!!!! thanks for the fun story.

The newspapers should have reported riots following the loss of the other team. Word it in a way to suggest these were all Patriot fans acting up after their team’s defeat. Next year, nobody would want to be called a rival’s fanatic, and tone it down.
