I'm a ticket broker. Mike's take is right, except for the "buying on the street" bit. The tickets the general public get are digital and so if you see a hard stock ticket out there, it's most likely fake. Now to add, compared to other Superbowl cities, New Orleans is a small market. This means less direct flights, and unlike a Houston, LA or Miami, there isn't a large enough local spending base to keep prices up.

It seems like a setup. Even Brady didn't get these kinds of calls. It's not just Mahomes either. If his recivers get grazed, it's pass interference, but the other teams recivers can get mugged by the KC secondary and no calls. Opposing teams also get more holding calls on big 3rd down conversations that I've ever seen.

Chiefs fatigue mixed with obvious game scripting is turning a lot of fans off to the game. I'd love if the ratings this year took a huge hit because then maybe the NFL brass will do something about it Unfortunately since its the only thing on TV that entire day, it makes it hard for even the casual fan not to tune in. IDK who is going to win, or care, but its likely to be a 3 point game going into the 4th quarter and will prob come down to the final drive yet again. Its the same storyline every single Superbowl because the refs know exactly how to get it to where they need it to be for entertainment sake and to make sure people arent ditching the game halfway through the 3rd.

The moment got too big last year, and they choked in San Fran, and we all saw what happened this year. Until they get rid of their loser mentality as a franchise, they're never making it to a sb. Curious how Mike keeps talking up Rodgers. Sounds like another sweetheart deal the way he talked up all of his favs that drove Russo crazy. He was so tied to Parcells many years ago he actually once said Bledsoe would be the next Marino, and that Testaverde had as great an arm as any QB ever! Mike knows that the ALL the great ones age out. And the way they fool you is that they show flashes of their prime from time to time, but the fall is inevitable. See MJ, Manning, Jeter, Ali, Tiger, Shaq, a bunch of MLB hitters and pitchers, etc. They lose a step after step and their every hit hurts more and each recover takes longer. Jets need to think steady and long-term, like the Lions have done. Move on from Rodgers.

This time It's going to be very difficult for the referees to steer this game in favor of Mahomes and K.C. They will be under a lot of scrutiny in front of millions of people. I'm sure the commissioner's office has told the refs to be careful. Don't be surprised if you see some questionable calls AGAINST the Chiefs to quell suspicions.
