Those reporters at the end of the video were asking questions about what the Broncos needed to do to improve and to finally win a Superbowl with Elway. Easy: a better running back. And they got it a decade later with Terrel Davis and getting Shannon Sharpe as tight end helped too.

Posting this on the 35th anniv: was living in the western part of va at the time where much wsh fans but some I knew hated them, at the tail end of my time in elem school where on the day after the game my teacher said she went for den bc she always goes for the underdogs, actually den the fave but wsh sure played like it was the one!

As a bronco fan. This was the most heartbreaking loss. The broncos were favorites and lead 10-0 and then the bottom fell out. Sad.

12:51 Sad to see Mike Adamle here with the knowledge we now know about him. Almost six years ago, Adamle, the host of the original run of _American Gladiators_ from 1989 to 1996, disclosed that he had dementia stemming from concussions during, as well as epileptic seizures after, his career in the NFL. This may have contributed to Adamle transposing the names of some WWE Superstars during his tenure as a broadcaster for the sports entertainment promotion. His medical team informed him that his symptoms are consistent with those of CTE and Adamle is believed to be the first living case of CTE, a degenerative cognitive impairment that former athletes are diagnosed with posthumously. Adamle has to keep a fanny pack on his person at all times with his phone, keys and identification in case he gets lost. He's dying and doesn't even know it.

Frank Gifford was also discovered to have suffered from CTE after he had passed. I wonder if that's in part why ABC replaced him with Al Michaels as the play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football.
