If E0 Welt is built poorly or used poorly, then yes, he won't be too good- but that goes for every character. Build him to deal damage or to land debuffs and he does well o7

A team I love that use with him is simply replacing Gallagher in Firefly's best team. His action delay + slow, with TB's action delay on break, Ruan Mei's delay on break recovery, and of you have it, Firefly's light cone. It all amounts to the enemy never having time to hit you

I always knew Welt is a good/niche unit but i never had any intention to use him. Quick questions. Is super break welt (or any super break teams in general) worth to use if you don't have ruan mei? Like i can think the closest replacement for ruan mei would be like asta for the speed buffs. Just curious as someone who really wants jade and the fox dude in 2.4. but also is considering getting ruan mei at the very least to make a break team (context of someone who has 75 pulls and is f2p)

Not without Ruan mei. She’s the only character that gives weakness break efficiency and that’s what’s so massive. Also if you have the pulls i would 100% get ruan mei now. Shes not just for break teams. She’s a top 2 buffer for every possible team in the game and really does change everything. Hopefully jade will come a bit early ;)))

I understand that super break welt is probably good but i just don't see a real reason to build that as a f2p or welkin/BP player cuz imaginary weakness is mandatory for it to even begin to work which is a problem firefly and boothill don't have so i just hope some newer players aren't gonna get baited to build this just to be disappointed the second there is no imaginary weaknesses in sight. its not worth it bcs imaginary break dmg is one of the lowest break dmg, also superbreak dmg scales on toughness reduction

Super break better, the problem with hyper carry is, skill is really bad vs 3 or more enemies so you end up spreading too much the damage even if he hits like a truck (Specially in fights were enemies don't stop summoning adds). Super break it's better because SB damage is independent of the element so he does a lot of damage , just if possible don't break with him because the multiplier is lower because his element. And idk if you will run him with RM but in that case don't bring sustain, once you break the enemy will not come back XD

If you need the +18% Effect Hit Rate for the Skill, Welt's LC could be slightly better, plus the DMG% increase makes him able to deal consistently more damage. Resolution is fine, considering it's a no Pela team, the base weapon stats don't go up with Simp level so whichever one you have levelled higher is likely the one that is best for stats. If you _happen_ to have Acheron's signature LC, and you want damage, that one is also worth a try as he can make use of both of the straight DMG% increases.
