Try pela and fugue. Since pela reduce armor which increases damage. Very easy ultimate cycle since pela talant 11 with 110 energy requirements. Can freeze enemy when broken which mean longer broken state. E4 skill give 12 ice resistance reduction another bonus damage for break

What I really really like with this is that Xueyi is Quantum.. quantum break may not be that strong, BUT, it has this effect that takes all of damage taken during break and deals a portion of it after the break ends.. so in theory, quantum break can be the most damaging break in the game..

That isn't how quantum break works. The debuff (entanglement) does a fixed amount of damage based on how many stacks it has, and simply gains a stack when the target is hit up to a maximum of 5. It doesn't have infinite scaling and it has nothing to do with how much damage the enemy takes during the entanglement duration.

@kinahananfa8666 already used all 70 of my tickets I'm broke now and the fact that I lost my 50/50 to Clara so no Fugue on the bright side I'm guaranteed on the next 5 star again for the third time in succession I have Molly's (Selee's VA) Luck when it comes to 50/50 also the fact that I got like what 3 yukong and 2 Misha no Gallagher sadly and 70 pulls was all I got man it's a leftover from the Acheron Banner (yes I skip Sunday in hopes for Fugue or Gallagher but no luck) so as it stands Xueyi will only have HMC as a support for now.

i have 4 crit rate cavalry pieces with 3 of them having 20+ crit damage substats and i'm not kidding when i say my level 40 Xueyi managed to get around 69/120 with 180BE just from her relics alone. i cant wait for Fugue. i just know Xueyi will get to 250BE with the external buffs. sucks that i didnt get any single good crit rate piece for Yunli cuz cavalry took all my luck smh.

as someone who doesnt have ff, boothill, or rappa, i can say that Xueyi is very much worth investing into! she helped me clear moc 11 and 12 and apoc. The team i would usually use with her is Xueyi - HMC - Ruan Mei - Lingsha/Gallgher. Since im planning to pull Fugue, she’ll work even better than before

If a unit breaks a non-weak enemy with Fugue's help, does it still apply the break-dot? Like if use Fugue's skill on an electro unit and that electro unit breaks an enemy without electro weakness, does the enemy still get the shock?

Yes. Whoever deals the break attack deals their own break effect. As an additional plus, with Fugue, you can trigger two different break effects on a single enemy at once. If one ally breaks the 1st toughness bar, and a different one breaks the 2nd rainbow toughness bar, both break effects (like Boothill's bleed + Ruan Mei's freeze, or even Firefly's burn + Fugue's burn) coexist. This is a big plus for Xueyi, who really likes the concept of enemies being entangled for her.

Yep E2 Xueyi makes her FuAs ignore Toughness. Which is a problem bc Fugue's Toughness ignore on top of already existing Toughness ignore effects. Hence why he didn't skill Xueyi when doing Floor 11 bc the enemies were already Quantum weak

I'll say it until I'm blue in the face. Xueyi is not a good break/superbreak character. For regular break damage, elemental damage modifiers apply. Quantum is 0.5x multiplier. Physical and Fire are both 2.0x multipliers. Wind is a 1.5x multiplier. Xueyi being a Quantum element leads to low (read: 0.5x) break damage. For superbreak damage, the main modifier that leads to higher superbreak damage is higher amounts of toughness reduction. Xueyi's followup attack from her talent deals 5 toughness reduction to a single enemy. Most other characters do 10 toughness reduction per followup. Xueyi's basic attack is a standard 10 toughness reduction. Xueyi's skill is a 20 toughness reduction to main target and 10 toughness reduction to the surrounding two. Xueyi's ult is 40 toughness reduction. This is fine, but this is the only thing in her kit that has passably decent toughness reduction. Note: The break/superbreak damage calculations do not factor the Clairvoyant Loom's 240%. This damage modifier only affects her non-break damage, and does scale her crit damage (this is WHY people build her hybrid). 4-star Sampo's literally a better break/superbreak character than Xueyi. I'm not even joking. Wind is a 1.5x multiplier on regular break damage. E1 gives his 5-hit (10 toughness reduction per hit) skill an extra bounce, meaning a 6-hit or 60 toughness reduction total for 1 SP. If there's only 1 boss, all 6 have to hit the boss, meaning 50% more (60 is 50% more than 40) superbreak damage than a Xueyi ult, and you don't have to wait for ult to build, it can be spammed on each of Sampo's turns. Transfer over the relics/planetary too. Sampo can use Genius of Brilliant Stars just like Xueyi since the enemies are all Quantum Weak. Since you're using Firefly 5star signature on Xueyi, you can also go for a 2nd Long Road Leads Home on Sampo or more likely Jiaoqiu's signature "Those Many Springs" to get good enough EHR to apply his Wind Shears per hit of his skill, and the damage vulnerability debuff (10%+14%) of the lightcone should apply to Break Damage too. Run the same experiment with Sampo and compare to Xueyi. You can also do the same thing with Asta. She's fire for 2.0x break damage, also has a 6-hit 60 toughness bounce skill with E1, and the speed boost from ult will help get additional turns to wail on broken enemies before they recover from being broken.
