Great stuff! Your content got me back on the blogging train. Started a new site last month and already picked up a Google Snippet on an article based off your advice!

Same here didn't pick a snippet but got to the first page of Google for a good volume seed keyword in my first month.

Out of curiousity, do you use a dashboard or anything to store your stats? Or do you have to manually check Ezoic, AdSense, WordPress, and Analytics, and Console every month?

I have the first article I posted 8 months ago on my blog just NOW getting impressions. I have no idea why it takes so long, but it's frustrating for sure. SEO makes you feel like you're frozen in time.

Hi Morten, would you delete old / bad content, which brings no traffic? My blog is about 5 months old and the first articels get some impressions but no clicks at all. I've to mention, that these articles target way to big keywords for a small beginner blog. On top of that, they might be in the YMYL niche (They are about how healthy certain food is). Afer watching your videos, I've improved my strategy. And it worked, my new aricles started to get traffic after some weeks! :) So my question: Would you delete those old articles? Keep up the great content!! :)
@PassiveIncomeGeek3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, if they do NOTHING for the site, I'd delete them, make them better, or merge the info into other existing articles..

Extremely helpful. :) I initially made a mistake by making my site too broad and starting to write on too different topics in the beginning. The first 60-70 articles are still having a hard time ranking now almost a year after. The last 10-20 articles have been really good though. Following your advice on only going after underserved topics. On top of that, I'm also only focusing on 2 categories. Whish I had seen your videos before I began.

Hi morten I have been following your advice for quite sometimes since you had an interview with Alex wpeagle. However I am extremely depressed because İ thinking my sites aren't doing well at all. One of my site is 16 months old while other one is 8 months old and both of them were hit by the recent updates. My older site crossed its 1k traffic per month but after the algo updates traffic is down while the other one isn't doing good at all. For more information one of them is in skateboarding niche while other one is on tools. I know you are an extremely busy guy but I was hoping if I you can review my sites and give me some suggestion and tips to improve. I am a student and running through a lot currently. Please let me know if it is possible. Thank you

Sorry to hear that, I cannot really help out on a one-to-one basis, but really - you should join the community/course - it's a great place to learn! Are the older articles on the site also targeting underserved topics?

Great video! Particularly because I'm working on a broad niche myself. Good to see that there is evidence of success. I'm working on a cluster model too. Though it is a broad niche, I am looking to add at least 50 articles for each cluster. As per content, I see you only had the first 37 articles which is a good sign for me since I'm writing more frequently and have a larger content pool. So far it's been only about five months and no progress yet as expected, but I've made sure to write as many articles in the first few months as I can. I'm doing all the writing myself and hope to keep adding a lot more good content. In time, as per your case study, hopefully I start seeing results. Really want this blog to workout for me. It's a passion. Thanks for the video again, really did help to put aside some of my doubts.

Hi Mortan, I did exactly what you said in the Keyword research video & found some great topics. But I was wondering How to write content on these topics. Do we need to consider SEO in the content with any plugins (Yoast/Rankmath), including any keyword or keyword phrase, or write down on to the topic without considering SEO?

Thanks for the video! I found it especially helpful as I am starting my own blog about blogging which is arguably one of the broadest niches out there( even saturated I feel) but am still going to give it a shot. I do have a question though, you already have a team of your own to write articles for you but for a beginner like me who doesnt have time I need a freelancer to write blog articles for me on regular basis for months. I personally dont think Fiverr is a good idea. Where would you recommend I get a quality writer for freelancing? Thank you !!

Do you have to worry about bot attacks or just leave it?
@PassiveIncomeGeek3 жыл бұрын
These attacks that we've seen lately are just one-day bumps and normally the ad networks can filter them out. The only risk is if the ad networks sees a page load and shows ads, but that hasn't been the case.
