Maybe we could get a Mole helper? The Mole could casually dig up treasure along each route of the game and for every evolution, he digs up more coins, or maybe bait to catch special fish?

I love this new helper mechanic! I just hope it isn’t going to be over powered to the point where we can just stand still in a boss fight and let the helper do all the work, there could be an extra cut scene where the helper is stunned by the boss and the boss would say somethin’ like “You think your puny little minion is going to help you? FIGHT ME HEAD ON!” It would bring a sense of intensity because now you're more vulnerable without your helper but obviously there’s still a chance to fight back. This should go for both main bosses and mini bosses, i think it’d be cool!

Would agree, if the helpers are too OP it wouldn't be too much fun, but I don't think that it's just about bosses, if they let you breeze through levels, I won't use them for the sake of challenge You're* ;)

It's good to see the helpers come back. You made the helpers not consumable and added an evolution feature, but there is something missing. How about adding a Helper House? I mentioned that in my previous comment that you can buy it from the Souvenir Shop in the Book Fair. With it, you would never worry about traveling with it and taking care of it at the same time at all. In the helper house, there is a bathroom which you can clean up the helper you equip, a kitchen which you can feed the Helper you equip, a closet which you can dress up the Helper you equip, a living room which you can whatch the Helper you equip wander around and watch your previous devlogs and the Super Cat Tales Shorts series, and a bedroom with a bed which you can put the Helper you equip to sleep. Can you add that in an upcoming update of SCT: PAWS (when the game is actually released)?

I think that a helper that helps you recover faster and/or take an extra hit world be very cool and helpful. A robot that defected from the tin army would also be very interesting.

there's no need for extra hit cuz there's a new checkpoint system in every room you enter like sub levels

What your adding to find helpers is proablby gonna be similar to this but I’ll list this idea anyways Idea: Some helpers would be available to buy from the start of the game, but others would have to be discovered, You would have to do side quests, collect a certain amount of bells or progress the story through a world Example: The jellyfish king requires you to be rich enough to take his son on a adventure (collect 25 bells and pay him 300 coins) Example 2: Paws finds a hurt cloud after beating a mini boss Paws takes it and to heal it, you would need 450 coins Example 3: A fisher will let you keep his next catch If you give him a rare bass, he rewards you with a eel (this would give it to you for free) This would make new players want to do sidequests to get extra help or to see a new helper

Honestly bringing helpers back without making them one-time used is definitely a genius idea ! It was a bit annoying because you couldn't buy anything if you didn't want to go back and farm coins for the two dragons, for example. If you need a helper idea, something that would be cool would be one that adapts depending on which character you're currently playing as, maybe by improving their skills when equipped. How's that sounds ?

I'm thinking maybe it could give him better underwater controls ? Something more accurate to a joystick, though I believe that'd be hard to code Maybe a charge attack underwater, making him the only character able to damage enemies underwater, and the higher the level of the helper is, the further the dash gods

Hey! I just wanted to suggest an Idea I thought could be cool. Maybe each time you defeat a boss or mid boss you could manage to use like a mini version of them with their own ability considering it sounds like they will all be sort of animals!

I love this approach to SCT1’s helpers and I hope there isn’t any grinding required in the game to pass levels and that the helpers serve more as an optional power up which can be earned. The idea of evolution also is interesting as it keeps the store from being limited.

I have an ideas about chupacabrics (helpers): 1) Some chupacabrics cannot be bought in the store. They can be found on locations as living creatures and they need to be tamed and then they will help you. 2) Helpers can destroy blocks. 3) Helpers can protect you, creating a protective barrier or by destroying enemy projectiles. 4) Helpers can get coins and bells in hard-to-reach places.

Oh wow, helpers are finally back! I'm hoping for the return of some old ones like the Phoenix and even Ice Bird, while giving them new capabilities like shooting fire and snow projectiles and permanently disabling any glowing lava blocks.

how about a kitsune based helper that surrounds you with fox fire shields, and what they would do is that each time you get hit by an enemy it would do a consumable counter attack (it would be refilled outside of the levels of coarse).

I have an idea for a new helper = -helper that destroy blocks, -helper that help the player fly into high places, -helper that collect items, -helper that create blocks, -helper that protect the player from something, -or helper that can interact with something the player can not interact with. How about a frog helper? first it's a tadpole, then a frog and the final evolution is then a giant frog with a crown modeled after the fairy tale frog prince (personally I wouldn't wish if the jellyfish's magnificent mustache had to go for that) or the idea for Skins , (so that it is not too complicated, this feature may only be added if your pet has reached the last evolution) For example, the cloud becomes an angry black cloud as a skin or just another color for the pet.

I was thinking about adding some sort of lantern dude, which could occasionally stun enemies, and it could also act like a light source in caves for a more niche use. It's lvl. 3 special ability could be wiping out all enemies on the screen.

Hmmm, I wish there was a higher difficulty. A few of this new features you have been announcing make the game a lot easier, like this one or the checkpoint one. Like, now that every cat can attack enemies are easier to deal with, and now with the helpers also attacking I don't know how could you make enemies something of a challenge, and helpers can even evolve to gain new abilities and make it even easier. It would be cool if you had a higher difficulty with less checkpoints and consumable helpers and other stuff I'm not sure right now but I'm sure you would be able to come up with them.

I'm trying my best to feel great. As an early Christmas present, this a change for Super Cat Tales: PAWS: People try to remember the names of their pets, right? This seems difficult, but it will be helpful to name the Helpers. You just gotta tap on the rename icon (the pencil button) in the Helpers menu. You can rename your Helpers as many times as you want. If that wasn’t enough, hats will be great for the Helpers. If you wanna change the Helpers, just tap on the change icon (the top hat button). You can change your Helpers with various hats, shades, and color too. By the way, merry Christmas!

I love the idea, I only hope items aren't super expensive/needed to pass levels. Because that's becoming a huge problem with my SCT2 playthrough, having to stack on coins for hours just to need to stack more. (Talking about getting through world 4, first the dictionary then the flute which are both highly priced)
