I’m so happy you opened up about being overwhelmed and stressed and getting down on yourself. It’s nice to know that someone who is a super hard worker and who has great success in her life still feels that way sometimes. I rely solely on KZbin videos and what people say (especially you considering our skin is so similar) and I’m balling on a budget and can’t always buy the new products people are using because by the time I get it, people are already using something different. IMO, the “beauty videos” aren’t beauty videos anymore. Like, I don’t need to see ridiculous videos about doing your makeup on a boat with a goat or whatever. I want real videos that I can relate to. Seeing someone do extreme videos in no way helps me spend my money or anything else. Also, I think people are increasingly frustrated with the over saturation of product launches and gurus receiving PR. There’s always something we are being told we have to have and usually it’s not something the guru purchased themselves.

Girl I have eyelash extensions and they should never take that long!! Omg I have extensions that are super long and voluminous and they only took like an hour. I wouldn’t pay to have them taken off unless you really want them off right away, but they will eventually fall off over time! Love your videos girlie 😊❤️

Kayla Schoonover they take that long if you truly get every lash. And everyone has a different amount of lashes. I do lashes for a living and most full sets take at least 2 hours.

Pumpkin0330 titi yes!! I tried it out and it did not wear well at all. I have combo/slightly oily skin. My skin wasn’t even that oily the days I tried it and it broke up, was patchy and it didn’t look good after a few hours. I’m really sad because I wanted an affordable stick foundation! :(

xo_shannon k my skin isn’t really oily and I always take good care of it so it’s smooth, healthy and all that good stuff for foundation to look good. I just don’t think the foundation itself is long wearing at all. It’s medium to full coverage but buildable. It’s about a satin finish. The foundation is very slippery almost and doesn’t stay in one place

I got my eyebrows microbladed and it was the best thing I ever did for myself! I’m more confident and spend almost no time perfecting my brows. Most days I go with a bare face and feel comfortable in my own skin now. When I want to wear full glam, I fill them in a tiny bit and it’s so much easier since there’s a base shape down! Hands down, best decision I made. Highly recommend!

I have eyelash extensions and I wasn’t a big fan of them until I started getting the volume lashes. Those are my absolute favorite and they are very noticeable! In my opinion I have to get the volumes filled a lot less as well, which is great because I hate sitting there for so long! I get mine done at amazing lash.

I feel like you went to the wrong girl Casey! Those lashes are definitely too natural for what you’re into and 2.5 hours is waaay too long. Look into volume/glamour lashes if you ever do it again. But honestly someone with your profession probably won’t do well with lash extensions bc you’re constantly trying new products/wearing tons of eyeshadow. Eyelash extensions, in my opinion, are for those of us who love to live that simple life and want to skip any eye makeup and just keep it natural. But for you, it’s difficult bc of the no oil products, etc. Also, your false lashes are SUPPOSED to fall out with your natural. If they don’t, then your girl used weak glue. As long as you’re not tugging on the lashes and they’re falling out on their own during brushing or cleaning, that’s normal. Our lashes shed and that’s all that’s happening when a real lash falls out with an extension. Bottom line, your girl did you a disservice by not explaining this all to you. Hope you have a better experience next time! Also, yes. They can remove the lashes with an oil cleanser that breaks down the adhesive. I bet there’s a way for you to do it yourself with oil too. Might be something to search on KZbin

Samantha Dris I do lashes and the only time your natural lash is supposed to come out with the extension is when that lash life cycle is up! Other than that the extension glue loosens up as you shower & clean the lashes! That’s why fills are needed every 2-3 weeks🙈🤗

I would try to find someone else for the lash extensions. When I got mine the first time, it was an hour! 2.5 hours... that is crazy!!!!! Fill ins should be about 30-40 minutes.

I’m a lash artist, lash extensions are not for everyone as they require a lot of care and “babying”. Some find the maintenance worth the convenience of not having to apply mascara or falsies everyday. People are saying 2.5 hours is way too long buttttt if you want them done correctly (properly isolated, properly shaped, fully filled, etc) it does take that long, it’s very intricate work! Also, your lashes shed naturally just like your hair, so it’s perfectly normal to lose the extension with the lash attached 😊😊😊

I was so much like you when I was your age. I discovered "mindfulness", deep breathing, and meditation.There are some wonderful books out there on this subject. Also, there are relaxation videos and websites you can listen to! As for your videos, I have found that I am NOT watching the other beauty youtubers. There are two things I like about your videos... You consistently introduce products, with mix of drugstore and high end, and you share parts of your personal life with us. I was so bored with a youtuber and I realized she always talked about expensive products, and NEVER talked about her husband or family. I actually just went through my sub list and unsubscribed to many channels. Don't change a thing!! The only thing I think would be nice is if you did some videos with you trying on RosieDaze clothing. I don't watch YT tv. I also don't really look at Instagram. I find it kind of boring, like looking at someones family pictures.
