These are great if your on a small monthly budget. Around £60 per month is achievable for most. Stack them away and forget about them. I started my stacking journey last month with one of these 1g Tavex bars and a mix of 4 x 1oz silver coins. Tryint to set this out as my monthly minimum target

What's your take on this: I really appreciate these bars for their fantastic price point. Even when you compare their cost per gram to a sovereign today, they still seem like a better value. However, considering that sovereigns are exempt from capital gains tax, what do you think makes a smarter investment choice - a sovereign or these 1g bars?

If you sell a large quantity of gold at once in the future then sovereigns. If you want a mix then buy both. If you rather liquidity at a low premium and prefer selling a bar or two for extra cash than selling a £360 Sovereign then get the bars. There’s no right or wrong answer it depends when you plan to sell and how much you will accumulate. Good luck mate

A classic sovereign is the better deal. If you buy this gold bar gold needs to go up £251 to break even. They are about the same as a 1/10th gold Britannia in terms of premium and how much the spot price needs to go up to just break even on your investment.

For the last few months the spread on these was a consistent 10% but for the last week to 10 days it's been around the 14-15% range.

@@GSmetals does the job and works fairly well, lots of light settings and colours, before that though I would record with just holding the phone myself so it was a big upgrade for me lol

Gold spot price has to go up £251 just to break even on this 1g bar(at current costs). Having said that I got one of these bars but I will probably not buy another one. Probably better off buying an early QE2 Sovereign(spot price just needs to go up £60 to break even).

Hey davinia this video is nearly a year old now and gold has gone up quite significantly since this was released. Sovereigns have a much lower premium for sure and are the best gold to buy imo 😊
