Great, I was thinking there would need to be some way to mark which controller went with which dongle and you did some colouring! A shame about the overheating, but it seems to be an afterthought with some of these pre-made consoles.

I didn't address it in the review, but the controller will just hook up to the first dongle it sees. There was no point in colour-coding the dongle itself. Marking the controller itself, may be a good idea though.

Mine has been on for months straight and hasn't overheated at all. I upgraded it to a 512gb card and I use 8Bitdo controllers. The sticker on the side pealed off easily. Nice little console!

.... Sorry. I'm not going to test every game possible in mame. That's insane. ...but yes. You can get NBA jam working with four players. Just needs settings switching up.

@@Larry Oh, hello you- it runs Jet Set Willy well enough, I don't think there's any topping that :) Jokes aside, heat not escaping the case I think is the main issue. Best thing to do would either remove the top of the case, or drill a large hole- both which would ruin the aesthetics of the case.

I got 2 nes controllers in addition to the orig controllers and it screwed up everything. It seems to cache settings. Even when resetting port configs it doesmt matter.

Which dongle do you use for 8bitdo? Is the standard universal dongle that lets you use any wireless controller? And maybe I missed it but then you could use a ps4 controller with the super console x then?

Any 8bitdo dongle should work, but for PS4 I reckon the mayflash may work better.

X pro, but honestly, I'd just get an s905x3 and then make an emulation box yourself. We've done a video on the "best emuelec emulation boxes" which covers all of them (including the cube and the x pro) at the time of the video's release.

I just ordered this system but I noticed it comes with 2 controllers but only 1 dongle?? How do they expect you to play 2 players with w controllers but only 1 dongle

There are some controllers that can have two controllers sync up to one dongle. You should be fine. Don't worry and see how it is when it arrives.

There is also Metal Slug for Neo, I love those games. He also has the good fighting games for Dreamcast, Sonic Adventures, Crazy Taxi. I think it's the Capcom fighting games that were also on Naomi but I love those type of games

If it's wired via usb then you'll have no problems when plugging/ unplugging controllers

@@TeamPandory oh this answer puts me at ease. Because it detects the USB joystick as the 1st player. When I plug it into the console later, it will be the 3rd player.

@@MustafaAltun. its a bit dumb tbh. If the same type of controllers are inserted, it cannot differentiate between P1 P2 P3 and player 4. It only sets them in order of connection. If you have different controllers, you can set them to be their own player though.

actually kinhank is a little troubled in control. It moves 2 or 3 characters with 1 joystick. This is actually the problem. I can't open retroarch with Nintendo joystick. When I turn it on by plugging in 3 joysticks (2 bluetooth + 1 wire), the usb gamepad always becomes the main controller. This time I'll plug in the cable last while it's on.

4K tv? Take out the microsd, load up android, set up the screen resolution to 1080p. insert microsd, reset. I think that's the process.

@@TeamPandory they may have a different word for it in the UK. It’s the side pieces on the screen that will display the console your running. I assume it’s for wide screen TVs . Box TVs weren’t wide screen so I was wondering if the bezels or borders were still displayed while using the box tv(crt)?

@@Marlevlyn Yeah- these are known as "Bezels". You can turn these off, as well as change the aspect ratio to fit the 4:3 TV screen.

Hello, I bought the console 3 months ago. I sent the card back because I had a problem with the controls. I wear a wired nes joystick when I play 3 player games. But it detects cable as 1 player. I chose the joystick without r3 and l3 keys as 3 player in the control settings. But the controls are broken. 3. When I remove the juicer, 1 player controls both 1 and 3 players at the same time. Is there a solution to this?

@@TeamPandory I can say this. I am using super console x nes. There are 2 bluetooth, 2 wired nes joysticks. I think I broke it for a while. 2 months later I gave it to the card exchange. It came formatted. All problems have been resolved. But when I start the 3rd Joystick. There is a problem with the console controls. Nes defines the joystick as the 1st player. So I can't open the retroarch menu as r3 is not l3. That's why I define it as the 3rd Input in the controller settings. It's okay, okay. But when I unplugged the cable and turned it on. 1 joystick gives commands to the 3rd Player at the same time. This time he corrected himself. But it can be broken again as before. Isn't there a solution to this? I'm thinking of buying a bluetooth joystick. In it I can open the retroarch menu. I would like to get your information. Thanks.

@@MustafaAltun. So is player 3 now player 1? I think your issue is that your controllers are the same model, and the box doesnt know one from the other. Having two different controllers (like, one 8bitdo, one this) should sort this out.

@@TeamPandory I can say this. You know, 2 same model bluetooth joysticks already came with the console. There is also an old-style nintendo josystick with a cable. If you can't assign the joystick to a player when you plug in all 3 and play a 3 player game. Nintendo joystick becomes 1 player. But when you look at the remote settings, they all look adult. The problem is, when you set the nintendo wired joystick as the 3rd input in the lumanda settings, it becomes the 3rd player. No problem. But when the cable is removed, the bluetooth joystick, which is replaced as the 1st player, becomes the 3rd player at the same time. 2 characters move. When you press coin, it gives coins to player 1 and player 2. In fact, if I do not assign the controller, they all appear as adults. But I need to do this to turn on retro. If I get the joystick with the R3 l3 key, my question will be solved. What is your opinion?

Not really a dumb question... At all. Take out the microsd and then android will load up. Install vlc and it'll load up media no problem.
