Buck knives don’t get enough love. They’re literally one of the best pocket knives that don’t come off tactical. They can be classy with wear as time passes on the brass bolsters. They’re well built and can do a lot. Even for the steel snobs out there, they offer s30v and even bos5160.
@DK-jd8bj5 жыл бұрын
I really want to give them love but they're selling out. They're starting to put their name on a lot of china junk. If more people spoke up maybe they would stop. That goes for all the other US knife makers too. Right now there's only one reasonably priced (under $150) US (folders) maker that hasn't sold out for quick profits. Hogue Knives. I want to support that kind of integrity wherever I can find it.

D K I’m not even American 🇦🇺but am a huge fan of Hogue knives! I have about 6 folders and 2 fixed blades. Love Hogue Knives. Hope you had a great 4 of July mate👍🔪🍺

Back in the 80's Buck was the knife to own. Unfortunately they started using their reputation to sell cheap Chinese junk. They stagnated with traditional designs and did not stay up with new blade steels. Lucky for them their bread and butter folders are making a comeback and they are in style. They get another chance to make it right. Best of luck to them. Love to see the underdog come out on top.

A lot of cool American knives... Other than the Benchmade, I too connected with the majority of your choices. The Benchmade is probably a decent tool, but I guess to me, it's not very attractive. The Spyderco is kinda ugly too, but I have one, and as a tool, it grew on me, so I like them regardless. At work, I switch between carrying the House of Blades S35VN Kershaw Dividend, Link, or a S30V Blur... All hold a decent edge, look cool, are comfortable to carry, and reasonably easy to sharpen. You really have quite a nice bunch of knives. I enjoyed your video. That SP-10 is a beast for the money... One of my favorites... Hope you had a wonderful Independence Day too! 🇺🇸💪

Happy Independence Day from Down Under. Have many US made blades but my fave & most expensive has to be my Bark River Grizzly, final run edition. A large lump of gorgeous 3V with Walnut handles, superb balance and my favourite grind, convex. As far as folders go, have a bunch of Spydies, Benchmade, Gerber and more but my favourite isn’t the most expensive, it’s a Buck 110 special edition with the S30V drop point blade. Beautiful knife.

First off I've always liked your videos, but nothing sets me off in a rage quite like seeing dark timber mid tech knives, they look great, seem to perform well in videos I see, but I've tried forever to get a honey badger, to actually use in the woods, and as far as I can tell, impossible to obtain, and im happy that you have and enjoy them, but the fact that no one without connections could ever get one is really aggravating and makes me spiteful to see them
