When I was a kid my dad diy-ed my mom a topsy tail tool! He used a zip tie and put it half way through, then duck taped it smooth. We used it for years!

This is the first time I have commented on your videos but I have watched ALL of your short hair videos. I am so glad you are making them again! I love having short hair but hate how limited I feel in updos. This is one of my favorite videos so far. I am going to try the topsy tail video tomorrow and am ordering the braid clips tonight. I loved both styles and loved the final version of the messy bun style. I think it will be an awesome style to wear to a wedding or something of the sort.
