Let me clarify: Agatha doesn’t have 2 bosses fight, only 1. Malik boss fight is not a boss fight, it’s a chase sequence. The third boss fight is not a named giant, it’s called Titan watcher

I really don't see what the point of making a remake was when the main games remaining chapters haven't even been released yet, it's just wasting resources. I mean there's some novelty in making a top down version of the game, as if it's going further into the pac man like roots and the pixel art is decent enough (although the lack of an top and down sprite makes the player movement look weird), but the mechanical appeal of dark deception partly was that it was a 3d pac man like, you couldn't always see the monster chasing you, combined with the shakey camera movement, it made for a more thrilling chaser game, theres a tense energy knowing you could go from searching to running at any moment. As a novelty this seems neat, but it's like their missing the point of their own game by making a game like this.

I can see you points to an extent but this game's more of a spinoff. Remakes are much larger in scale and SDD doesn't seem to really remake much. It's just DD with a 2D pixel top-down style. Putting the game in a new perspective so to speak

Tbh it allows more people to enjoy the story my friend didn't enjoy the original while this one he actually enjoyed the demo and is thinking about getting this over the original so if u don't like first person horror maze then u can go with the top down retro version

It's a demake and this would have been fine as an April Fools thing or even as it is if the base game was still being updated instead of the multiplayer spinoff. Either way it reminds me of 123 Slaughter Me Street RETRO or Super FNaF but one of those is a fangame and nonetheless both are for finished games.

No clue why people are complaining about this game. It’s clear that chapter five is taking a long time to make, and the devs gave us this game to provide us with content after so long. You’re all acting like we haven’t gotten any news when there have been countless teasers!! Just be patient and be grateful that we’ve gotten some sort of game after two years.

@@e554 It's not that bad? it's literal just a pixelated verison, probably makes it easier to release the game anywhere too since it's pixelated. It's NOT a copy (also you could just wait for the new chapter?? which is most likely coming this year due to all the teasers or 2025) ITS JUST a pixlated version, and it makes it easier for SOME people to play the game since some devices can't handle that much graphics. It's more like one of those rpg games or like undertale, omori. Kinda? ATLEAST be grateful the developers relased something. The fanbase is halfdead, most are waiting for them to atleast release SOMETHING and heres that something. Give the pixelated version a try atleast before putting out your opinion

It’s a retro 2D game that’s remake based on dark deception. It is out but only chapter 1, rest of chapters such as Ch 2 & 3 will coming out soon. The full game is not release yet, it will release per chapter
