Another great video, Mandee! It stinks that Mike's good nature gets taken advantage of. I know the story behind the "Pots and pans" reference in Williamson's comment, and it makes me angry that a fellow driver has to stoop to such elementary school tactics to cover his over-aggressiveness. Mike will soldier on...he always does. That's what makes him such a fan favorite(and one of mine). Hammer down, Team 35!!!

Well universal meaning aside it don't matter what Williamson wants to think. Mike passed him and from what I saw had mike not made contact with the spun car and get a flat, I think that #6 car would've had a hard time getting back around him.

I have many “favorite” drivers. There are many guys out there that I want to see win at different times for different reasons. My memory is shit, but I believe about 10 years ago, my dad and I went to either Weedsport or Rolling Wheels. We sat next to an older gentleman and we were talking. Mike came rolling out on the track and I believe that man said Mike was his grandson. Again, my memory is great right 😂 been going to races everywhere for so long, talking to so many great people, sometimes things just mush together. We have watched Mike ever since then and cheer for him to win a big races all the time . His day will come, I know it will. Mandee, we appreciate the coverage, you guys make awesome videos! The main reason I follow Mike is because he is such a clean and respectful driver. He's also pretty darn good driver. I love how he always interacts with his fans and never says no to an autograph. He is a TRUE ambassador of the sport! It's a shame more drivers aren't like him. I have never met you or Mike personally, but I follow both of you and Billy Jr. I have 4 or 5 favorite drivers and Mike and Billy are on that list. Don't let the Pots and Pans remark bother you. Where I come from it's a term of respect.

At our local track we had a driver that was showing his displeasure the same way and beating up the rear nerf. They warned him and he did it again under the next yellow and they parked him for the rest of the season.

I'm wondering if Williamson was unhappy about the way Mike closed the door at 23:25 . That's about the only thing you really see that happened. So he bumped him to express his displeasure from that, but it's all a part of racing.. i'd say with the first bump he would have made his point.. Took it too far. Either way Mike never races dirty and rarely even puts his nose or door on anyone. One of the most respectful drivers out there.

its not even about what happened under the green flag. its a tight track with a lot of close competition. of course there is going to be contact and guys getting chopped off etc. the point is that it was nothing intentional and didnt call for that kind of reaction. unfortunately Mat has anger management issues.

I dont know about that. I've seen him black flagged at Merittville and fined and suspended for various incidents when his family were 50% owners of the track with the Bicknells. I can only assume the officials had their heads down in the booth trying to figure out the lineup or something. would be interesting to hear if a warning was given over the one way.

Williamson is legitimately the easiest driver to dislike if he never took his helmet off he would have a better chance but soon has he starts talking I check out .ever since the buzz chew ride started for him he's had a hard on for Mike. Mike needs to get more aggressive and make a point that if they push he punches maybe then he'll get the respect he gives them.

If and I say if I wronged you in a small enough way that your still in the race , still running with no problems, if you feel you have to give me a wtf tap . Ok give a tap maybe even 2 , but after that your taking your chance of finishing this race and throwing it away. After the 3rd you better know your in the danger zone . I'm a big Mat Williamson fan but I have to admit that he has an anger management problem. everything he has been involved in, whether he was the one who wrecked someone else or was the one who got wrecked or if it was just incidental contact or someone who he felt was in his way, its always an over the top confrontation sometimes ending with fighting in the pits afterwards. now that he's in his 30's and engaged to be married I would hope he will calm down a bit and realize not everything is a personal act against him. I saw a couple times Mike came down in front of Mat getting into turn 1. Mike doesnt have a rearview mirror so give it a break!

Once again one of the better funded cry baby's has an issue because he can't pass Mike cleanly, so it is Mike's fault. Seems like it is the same two drivers that can't figure it out. I have been following your vlogs for years but the untold story of the incident between Mike and Mat the fact that the video was cut not showing what took place before Mat was running into the back of Mikes car. Mat doesn't do that unless something was done to him, I have been following him for years so why didn't you show what really happened? shame on you for not showing the whole video as to what provoked the incident. It just so happened that when Mat returned to his race trailer someone had put water in the fuel tank of the generator and the 35 team was parked next to the 6 team a coincidence I don't think so.

I respect your opinion, unfortunately Mike races for a living and these are his co workers so to speak that race with him at a lot of different events. Sometimes showing your car owner, sponsors and fans of all ages that taking the high road gains their trust in you to keep a cool head and not destroy their cars and waste money. Also people looking from a far may gain more respect for mike and want to have their business/support for the team. It’s a business decision and sometimes cooler heads wins. Mike will win the big one(s) soon and then “pots and pans” can hold that check up smile.
