I love Super Duck head sculpts, clothing, and accessories. I hope they keep doing what they are doing is all I can say! I like how you spread things out and explain the items. The posing at the end is great too as well as the comparisons!!! I don't have that Ada figure, but she is cool looking! Great video on a great product!!! 🙂

Thanks! I like to give the viewers a good look at what you get with a product. However! I tend to spend too much time on single pieces when I review stuff, and that makes the videos longer than they need to be LOL. Super Duck makes awesome head sculpts, and they seem to often be portraits of video game characters. Still! They are beautiful head sculpts. That Ada figure is a old figure now, and Im expecting to get a newer version made by Damtoys soon. Its only like 6 months or so delayed 😂

I’ve been considering the super duck R3MAKE Jill for quite some time and seeing the parts in non-studio lighting has sold me on purchasing her with the body sculpt included, she is one of the better sculpts I’ve seen online next to the prime 1 studio statue so I am excited to add her to the collection

You’re most welcome and Im glad that my review was of any help to you. I was on the fence about this set for a long time myself, as I really prefer official figures for my personal collection. But seeing how rare it is for official 1/6 scale Resident Evil figures being made I couldn’t take the chanse on passing on this. Im sure that Damtoys will make this figure at some point, since they now have the license for Resident Evil 2 remake, but then again, maybe they won’t. I’d rather have the unofficial figure of Jill than nothing at all.

Yeah, I really like these sets from Super Duck. You get everything that you need to build the character, but at a cheaper price, as there is no licenses to elevate the price. Most sellers of these sets are great at recommending a suitable body, which you can buy, or you can choose one yourself. Now… I bought the set on the aftermarket, so it turned out a little more expensive than what it was at retail. The body cost me about $60 bucks or so on eBay. I can’t remember what I paid for the actual set though. I still think I paid less for the body and the set than what I would have paid for a fully licensed figure. I've looked at this before, but I have to say that's the best Jill Valentine out there. When I searched for a Jill Valentine, I saw several versions, but Super Duck did the best job from my perspective. At least the knife fits the sheath unlike Claire Redfield. LOL I love the Leon Kennedy and the Ada Wong figures you have as well. 🙂

Yes, this head sculpt is bang on with the likeness of the character. I looked at some other sets and unofficial figures too, but this Super Duck set was the best one in my opinion. There is a Jill Valentine head sculpt with rooted hair out there too, but it didn’t look too good to me. Yeah, no «Redfield issues» with this one LOL. I love that Damtoys Leon figure. Its from the Remake version of the game, and my Claire is the «classic» outfit version. The difference between the classic and the remake version of the Leon figures aren’t all that much, but there is a massive difference between the classic and the remake versions of Claire. I really wish that I had gotten the remake version of Claire instead of the classic one, just to not have the damn issue with those freakin’ buttons LOL. My Ada figure by Hot Toys is from the Resident Evil 4 game. When I get the Damtoys Resident Evil 2 remake version of her I really don’t know what to do with the Hot Toys version. I absolutely HATE having more than one representation of a character in my collection. But then again, they are from two different versions of the games. The Hot Toys figure also came with a bunch of accessories that you don’t get with the Damtoys figure, so I don’t know what to do LOL.

@@Eseres80 Now you need to get the other Super Duck Set of Jill Valentine. That set comes with a skirt, sweater, and her blue top; however, no head is included. I bought it and found out the head is sold separately. She comes with lots of weapons too. The S12D phicen body is required. It would be nice if you could make a review as well.

The movable features, such as automatic pistols, are interesting.

Yes they are. Most 1/6th scale firearms do have movable features, but its not exactly common for them to be springloaded, such as on the guns in this cosplay kit. Not quite sure what to think of the features on these guns though. Its cool to have them on these guns, but not particulary practical for taking photos, since the spring mechanism can’t hold the position for a pose. Thats why I prefer having the movable features without the springloading action.

I only know it as «clingfoil» and plastic wrap. The type of plastic foil/wrap you use to cover leftover food before you put it in the fridge, if you know what I mean. It doesn’t do anything for the leather/pleather or any other materials/fabrics you put on one of these silicone bodies, but it protects the body itself from getting stained or get color transfers from fabrics. It also makes it a bit easier to put clothes on these bodies as it has less resistance/friction that the silicone body. Personally I highly recommend that you rinche the dye out of any clothes you want to put on these bodies. Cold water and keep rinching it until the water doesn’t get dirty anymore. Use a bowl or something so that you can tell that the water doesn’t get discolored/dirty. These 1/6th scale clothes are usually dyed with color and the factories often doesn’t remove the excess dye before they pack and ship them out. Tiny particles of color dust may still be in the clothes and this will transfer onto the silicone bodies if not removed properly. Silicone bodies will absorb any color over time, and especially the darker colors. You can protect the silicone body by wrapping the parts up with some of this plastic foil. You just need enough to cover the bodypart you want to cover with clothes or pleather/leather. Sometimes I tend to not do this and I end up having stained bodies. You can fix a stained body too, but I think it is way too much work and takes far to long to do, so I’d rather just try to remember protecting the body instead if I can.
