SUPER EASY CROCHET STITCH - Single Crochet V Stitch - One Row Repeat

The stitch pattern is a one row repeat, the pattern is a multiple of 3 plus 2. Example chain 3 x 10 = 30 then add 2 more chain for a total of 32 chains.

A nice relaxing pattern. Will use it for my baby blankets. I found it helpful to crochet into the back bumps of the chain for a smoother look on that first row. Thank you for another great pattern😊

I love this stitch! I've already started making a scarf using Yarn Bee Pearlspun low pill fiber yarn in the color Pearl from Hobby Lobby. I love how it is turning out. It's so soft! GLinda, your sample looks nice and flat and pretty. But when I skipped two stitches on that very first row, it made the pattern bunch up at that point. I found out that it looks nice and flat and better with just one skipped stitch in between the the stitch pattern.

That is a lovely stitch I've been looking for a stitch to make a blanket. But I want the blanket to of look like a bed a bedspread blanket not a comforter. I just hate the bumps on the corners. I think that would make a beautiful bedspread. Can you use any any kind of yarn as long it's the same weight as the one you use with the same size crochet hook. I'm thinking of making me a lime green color for my Queen bed and another one in size king for my best friend. To give it to her for Christmas, probably not this year maybe next year 2024 year. You can use any weight yarn, just use the recommended hook size on the yarn label You can adjust the hook size if you do not like the drape.

I love this pattern. Thx for sharing 🥰. The only thing id like to ask is when u are doing the first row & u say "skip the next 2 chain" it throws me off bcuz I'm an audio learner so when I'm not really watching, I'm mostly just listening. So my question is, when u are working the first row can u please say "chains" instead of saying "chain" without the "s" please? I'm sorry I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt. It may also throw off the new crocheters too. I really love all your tutorials, thx for all your hard work 😘❤
