Robin, I am a 65 yr old woman, and in my day, it was just something a girl, or young lady was taught to do. I've been crocheting for years now, but I must tell you. . . I have learned more in the past month, watching your videos, than I have my entire life! I have actually WANTED to crochet again~! lol. . Thank you for that! . . Needless to say, pretty much everyone will be getting hand made items for christmas this year! :)

Yes! Yes! This is what I needed to see 🫶🏽 Thank you Mrs. Robin for continuing to bless so many of us, whether you know it or not. My aunt taught me to crotchet when I was roughly 10 years old. The pandemic encouraged me to pick up my needles and thread again after mehhh, 10 years? I am now 28 and according to my aunt.. I have completely taken what she has shown me and took it to another level!!! I hate to be cliché but this is the truth. Your videos have brought me tranquility when the past 2.5 years have been nothing shy of a whirlwind for me. As my generation says, “Your aesthetic is EVERYTHING!” lol. From your high caliber of editing to your clarity when explaining even the most basic stitch.. down to nail color. Phenomenal is an understatement. I just attempted the snowflake last night and was able to work up 2 of those cold boys in 30 minutes with Velvet yarn. Anyway, I pray you and your loved ones have a peaceful, safe and blessed holiday and more. I am grateful 🌻 Never stop teaching.. well, unless you want to of course 😄 Selfishly, I hope it’s no time soon! Thank you 🙏🏽

"Your aesthetic is everything" is the highest compliment I could receive! I know I should be taking flattery from the teaching side but it's so nice to hear the tiny details that are so deliberate on my end are actually noticed! 😄 Call me shallow but those tiny details are the bits I obess over LOL 🥰🧶 Thank you so much for taking the time to write all that! I genuinely appreciate it xxx

@@HookedbyRobin You’re more than welcome! You deserve the credit! Us “artists” are sensitive about our crafts even when starting out. Please take it and know that you are truly deserving of such praises!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with paying attention to details and being confident in your work. That’s what makes or breaks quality, in my opinion. It really is the little things 😊 and I am fortunate to have a great example. You efforts need not go unnoticed and whoever fails to see it.. sucks for them. Missing out big time!!!!!

Robyn I really like this method of doing the V stitch. It is far less confusing. I will have to start a scarf with it. Your tutorials are very clear, so thank you! 😊

Curse my brain - now I want to go and figure out how to use this in a v-stitch triangle shawl. (I got this straight away, thanks to your excellent demonstration and explanation. I prefer this to the standard v-stitch.)

I LOVE IT !!!!! when you've been crocheting for some time it's great to learn slight variations, I love the upside down V , so cool, ideal for baby and child blankets and scarves because as you say it's a little more robust to the stretching and wear and tear of young ones, and a few older ones too lol, thank you 😘

Very true Rubi, it definitely lasts longer which is always a positive! 😃🧶

I really like this version of the v-stitch. I agree with you about trusting the process. The first three rows of my sample were iffy, but then it clicked. Thanks so much for this lovely new stitch!

I love your style ...you use a large hook & count the chains ' cos sometimes I miss which loop is actually a chain to make a double crochet. Also you have the best left hand wool feed, which looks relaxed a bit like knitters 💐

I prefer things that do not pull apart and stretch like the traditional v stitch method. My biggest pet peeve in crocheting is the stretch and pull and lack of stitch tension. I can't stand half of the crocheted dishcloths is because the holes get massive as the stretch so bad when wet. As usual, another brilliant tutorial Robin!!!!🥰
