A walk through how to make this delicious Margherita Pizza (or 2) in no time at all using the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven. This pizza melts in your mouth and tastes so healthy and light. //WHAT I USED// (for 2 pizzas)
2 pack of Stonefire Artisan Thin Crust
1 cup Pomodoro sauce
4 cloves of garlic (minced)
salt & pepper to taste
1 package of fresh basil (chopped) *or leave whole if you prefer
olive oil (enough to drizzle across pizza(s) *or alternate substitute)
1 pkg of fresh sliced mozzarella (or balls)
3 roma (plum) tomatoes (evenly sliced)
*1/2 cup additional shredded mozzarella cheese is optional*
//INSTRUCTIONS//
Spread a thin layer of sauce over pizza crust. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Next add your tomato and mozzarella slices (alternating) over the pizza crust. (try not to crowd). I used 7 slices of each -per pizza. Next *if using additional shredded mozzarella cheese sprinkle about. Now add atop your desired amount of fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil (or substitute oil) over pizza. (*Careful not to use too much olive oil as this can lead to smoke) Use the PIZZA Setting on your Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Fry Oven (Use 2 level option for two pizzas) I used a temp of 415° and time of 12 minutes. I recommend 12-15 minutes for crispy crust. TIP Be sure your pizza edge is sitting perfectly on the grates to avoid drooping.
