I have never in my life seen anyone fry up chicken (or any other meat) in a bottle of salad dressing. What a fantastic idea. I get burnt out on chicken that seems to always taste the same. If you put chicken pieces in a 9x13 casserole and cover them with a bottle of zesty Italian dressing and bake it comes out tender an flavorful. If you like chicken livers throw some in. You won't believe how good they are. Zesty Italian also makes a great overnight marinade for grilled chicken. Add in balsamic vinegar for a flavor tweak.

I’m an Italian who lives in the north east US. We also celebrate Sunday suppers but they usually start with grandma getting up at 5:30 am and starting the sauce so it can cook for hours and the family can eat by 1:00. It’s an all day event and it’s mandatory, lol.

Love Sunday Suppers! We had meatloaf, homemade mash potatoes, green beans, corn all from our garden cornbread, pinto beans and coleslaw, it all got ate. all the kids came and 3 of the 5 grandkids! So much fun. plus 2 pies.

Yum!yum! We make something similar to the grape salad during this time of the year. The only thing different is we call it Christmas salad and we add chopped apples, pineapple tidbits, marichino cherries and the grapes and nuts. 😊❤

I make my corn casserole with the corn and sour cream on the bottom. Scatter the dry corn bread mix on top, then pour the stick of butter on top of the corn bread mix. I use Martha White Mexican cornbread mix instead of Jiffy.
