The beauty is that this thing exists. That's the dream. The reality is that this music is decades old, and the style is slowly dying. I'm afraid Dave Rodgers didn't create enough of a group to succeed his group of creatives. If Super Eurobeat dies one of the greatest music genres to ever be created could die. Thankfully there is a lot of youtube activity so this is keeping Eurobeat from completely fading. But there hasn't been a single classic made in the genre for about 10 years. It's about time to refresh it.

Long ago though Dave Rodgers stated the recipe in a legendary quote of his when asked what is Eurobeat, he said: “Eurobeat is music made in Italy, for Japan, and loved by the world.” This captures the essence of Eurobeat. I would expect someone from that style to make a renewal of the genre. Maybe Dave should have pushed Kaioh to make more music. Sunlight is a very good track. But you need artists with energy like GO2 and that group of vocalists who really could give a run for the money to synthesizers.
