Even my Škoda Octavia has the exact same door issue and they have not given a proper solution till today , but if you lube the door properly the sound is comparatively reduced and keep the doors empty to reduce the Noice even more .

Seems you have not yet got any big issues with your car. For a sensor that got damaged for SKODA Octavia MAHAVIR SKODA quoted 1.5 lakhs to replace the entire set which was repaired outside for 2500 Rs. The only solution with SKODA is to replace entire unit. I have seen one skoda fabia which had issue with fuel injection system and instead of repair they said they would replace entire unit and quoted 4.5 lakhs. The car cost itself was around 5-6 lakhs in that period. All this story is from 2015 period. Ofcourse OCTAVIA was a diesel rocket fun to drive with fuel efficiency of around 18-20 on highways. But if there is a break down u wont find any help in many secondary cities.

Get creta if u want low maintenance, reliability and mileage idk about safety. For curve I have seen that its simple features glitch a lot like indicators etc and I heard that it is not that reliable. And Tata's customer service is really bad. But it might be safer than creta
