Well that was an excitingly HOT video to watch! Mr. Young should be quite pleased with your creation. I also like the Circuit-Tripping Plug addition, that seems to be a good idea too, just put some handle on the top (which you had mentioned) and the DIY Angels will be singing songs of 'golden praises'. Cool stuff there. I've been trying to figure out a proper genre meme for you, I keep coming back to a 'genre-title'.. "Tripptronics" ! Congrats on the 1000 subs too, nice milestone!

Johnny hello pal! I had to really reel myself in several times.. because I keep wanting to add this and that and the other thing.. a handle here some feet and a SS relay pid controller there.. pretty soon I would be charging up the Laser Fired Solid fuel rockets for the next thermal AU cupeling purification! STOP IT MATT! Okay EZ DIY 😎 Thanks my bfam ✌️PT

Igor! Yessss Masterrrrr.. Where’s my Service Bell! 🛎 Please forgive me.. Your Excellence but.. Mrs Wizard took it. 😳☝️🛎 ding 😂 Every morning it takes me a few seconds longer to get my butt going.. I’m up to around 5 hours now 😂 I jump out of bed at 6am and ready for the day by the crack of noon. Crippled and Grumpy is fairly normal.. I can be both! Not totally sure about the bad hair part, having high purity Goldilocks until I cashed out for the Silver-locks several years ago 👨🏻🦰👨🏼🦳 Stay safe pal.. back surgery is pretty normal also. ✌️PT

802 OA! Thanks much sir! Glad you enjoyed. I learned a lot also! These little furnaces are really good for Cupeling precious metals. I’m enjoying the process and excited to run this thing often and regular! I’m trying several methods of reducing silver and gold scrap into a button of very useful and highly prized pure silver or pure gold! Yesterday I took two 1/20th 12k gold filled necklaces and placed both into a cupel. I heated these necklaces for about an hour and nothing happened at over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit? Just glowed very bright red. I then dropped in a chunk of Lead with these red hot necklaces. Within a few minutes these necklaces were a puddle of molten metal and oxides were stripping off quickly. After about 30 minutes, all that was left was a small silver looking button. I decided to cupel it again. The button alloyed with the lead quickly and about 30 minutes later I had basically the exactly same button as the first time. So I believe the necklaces had a bit of silver along with the gold. I calculated .38 grams of pure gold should be in there. The button weighs 4.197 grams. It’s mostly silver but should have roughly .38 grams of gold in there. Today I am going to place the button in Hot Dilute Nitric Acid, burn off the silver and cupel the remaining gold! Love these processes! Thanks ✌️PT

Congrats on your 1K subs my friend. Great video of your build. Very good step by step instructions. Is that K-wool? I really need to re-do my foundry, it was done with fire clay. Covid nowe is better than covid brain🤔🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing this build adventure with the community.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
@ProspectorTripp2 жыл бұрын
Hello Chuck, thank you for your super comment! The Ceramic Wool.. I’ve heard it called Kaowool, Ceramic Fiber, Ceramic wool. In the video description I have links for the k-wool and the other items. I bought the K-wool from Amazon. The description in Amazon says: (Ceramafiber Ceramic Fiber Blanket by cera - Baffle Insulation 8#, 2300F,2 x 24" x 12.5 FEET for Wood Stoves, Pizza Ovens, Kilns, Forges & More - 8# Pound 2300 Degrees) I bought a large amount of the Ceramafiber 2’x12’x2” thick was $130 to my house. This is enough for many furnace builds and rebuilds. With the rigidizer applied it is much safer to work around that’s for sure. I likely have had Covid brain for 63 years 😳🤪☝️😂☄️⚡️😑 Thanks pal ✌️PT

Very awesome did you think about a electric regulator for power so you don't have to go max all the time so you could adjust the temp a bit courious
@ProspectorTripp2 жыл бұрын
Hello Mike, I was committed to as EZ as possible and function. I didn’t even put a handle on it! 😆 EZ peasy with a safety device was my plan! The temperature maxes out at just over 2000F which works nicely for purifying Precious metals through the Cupeling process. If too hot.. crack the top a bit like the Egyptians and Romans use to do 😂 I could have made it temperature adjustable.. a digital display, SS relay with a pid controller, power switch and so on.. but that’s not exactly under the EZ peasy banner. 😂 Stay Golden Mike! ✌️PT
