You have to think where you alocate the energy against gayardos, take into consideration that you can lose this energy and that will force you to attach it next turn to it and not to celibi. Also you made your bench full, if you didn't you could have play celibi one turn earlier and attach the energy to it, you would probably win with average luck 1 in 2 flips for 50 dmg. So remember guys, think through your turns and when you lose, don't always put in on rng. Try to examine if your decisions cost you a game, like in this case.

Pikachu EX can be very effective, if you use blitzle to swing at the magikarp on the bench, usually you only get one strike then the other is a Gyarados though, but by then Pikachu + one other electric should be able to handle

Pikachu deck with zebstrika, can snipe magikarp on the bench. Hitmonlee is also decent counter

I really think ppl try too hard to cook with mew, LOL. Many matches won because opponent tried to be too fancy with her. She's potentially very powerful but also very situational.
