Nexon EV is the best Value for Money EV. In home charging is 80 paisa per KM. These is the best option in daily travel who have daily journey around within 200km. Lots of petrol cost saving if you calculate. And in India the survey says avg travel of a car owner is 16 -18 km. The problem is in our country the people mindset is " Demand more more as much possible and may be requirement is way below". Some people may travel 60 km daily at asking 400 km range. Be practicle. 90% people does not need fastcharger. Only home charger is sufficient. In case of Nexon EV Tata Power will install charger at your home free of cost. So be practical. Go with EV.

Aur mai kisi metro city me nahi, 6 lakh ki city aur uske aaspaas ki towns ki baat kar raha hoon. Tum pata nahi kis kone me rahte ho desh ke jaha poori raat light nahi aati. Move kar jao kisi dhang ki jagah.

I have also thought to purchase Nexon ev model but I purchased Nexon xma petrol car due to many reasons like ev infrastructure is not available in odisha . Lack of charging facilities , lack of long range trips . And 250km per charge with ac on is seriously very low range and that too I have to spend 14-15lacs . almost double the price . So government or car manufacturers needs to put ev charging point everywhere . atleast every 5km distance . And on highway as well. As per today's price of petrol 111 rs per litre it's very hard to run petrol cars as well . Ev car is good if it can provide atleast 500km per charge minimum .

Charging even via fast charger is slow. Waiting for 1.5-2 hours every 200 Kms is waste of time. There is no peace of mind if you always have to calculate how many Kms are left and Lets turn off the AC or drive at 40-50 kms just to increase the range! Now a days we are facing power cuts with coal issues, in this type of situations there is no use with EV vehicles. And as per the calculation we will get subcompact any cars in between 10-12 lakhs, but if want to go for EV we need to spend 4-5 lakhs extra. With that excess amount we can use 1 lakh kms petrol

the effect is minimal. DC fast charging is not recomended as the daily source to charge an EV. Even Tesla mentions this. The reason behind this is to do with Battery Chemistry (Batteries got hot while charging at higher current rates leading to faster degradation). Again this effect is minimal but it is there.

What about the cost of battery replacement. Do the math, in the long run even if you use an EV for 10 years. When the cost of battery replacement is added (this battery will die down irrespective of whether you use the car or not) it doesn't work out. I have solar panel at home even if I completely charge an EV using solar panel from day 1. The cost of running it for 10 years will far exceed my present cost of running a petrol car with 16km/ltr mileage.

1,80,000 km @ 18km per liter will give you 10,000 liter of fuel. So based on type of fuel it may cost you 9.7Lakhs to 11Lakhs. Electricity bill for this 1.8Lakh KM will be 2.7 Lakhs considering that we will get 240km per charge. At the end of 1.8Lakhs KM the saving will be 7Lakhs to 8.3 Lakhs. Finally you are ending up to buy new battery with those savings. But wait what about motor of EV? That's still in risk of losing at any time. Finally don't forget that cost of EV car is at least 2/3 lakhs more then fuel. At the end we are not getting benefited at all, even if there is any it will be minimal.

Lets do some math : fyi we have 8 yrs warranty for battery , secondly let suppose every year we drive around 10k km and lets consider for 400 rs we drive 250km so per year we have to pay 16000 and for 80000km cost is around 1.28 lakhs , for petrol you are paying 8 rs per km right now so for 80000km u will be paying 6.4 lakhs and battery cost is around 4.5 lakhs right now which will decrease with time aa production will also increase , if you want to travel for long distances definitely ev is not for you but with upcoming years you can go for ev if you feel anxious now

Brother please consider my words before buying vw taigun , i m a polo tsi owner and took test drive of taigun , the problem with taigun is its indian platform based product and you wont get that quality for which vw is known for they have degraded the plastic quality and no engine insulation is given even for top model and you wont find feel of vw sitting inside it , but the thing is the engine and handling is up to the mark and the car is performance oriented so forget the mileage, otherwise you can buy it all the best

Bro Taigun will give very low mileage(9-10km) in city and surely u'll have to invest more after buying. I recommend you to go for other diesel engine car in this segment as in India both mileage and features are a priority. Also electric cars require 10 years more to become commonly used. I suggest you to buy Venue or Sonet diesel as it has good performance and u will love to drive and feel that diesel engine power.

I paid as high as 50rs / kw as made a mistake of charging from DC pump over 80% in which the car accepts lesser current from the charger. Most 3rd party chargers are time based and you have to be smart to charge only till 75-80% Not sure if Tata Power does unit based charging accurately regardless of time.

When the time of battery replacement total savings willbe expensed, i think battery replacement cost maybe Rs 2 - 3 Lacks, in a petrol vehicle there is no need to expense Rs 2- 3 Lacks at a time, thats why petrol vehicle is most cheaper than Electric vehicle.

Uske baad 510 rs charging ke do aur agli jageh charging mile ya nai wo bhagwaan bharose. Sabse badia cycle hi hai local within ciry ke liye maano ya mat maano paise pure bache aur no to doctor or medicine.
