I made 20 aprons for Christmas gifts for friends and family using Indigenous fabrics and designs. They were a hit. I also made mug rugs for the men. So for next year I'm thinking to make cell phone holders.

I have a question for you Sheri. If you are quilting a smaller item such as a place mat in lines, do you sew all rows in the same direction or do you sew one line starting at the top and then the next line starting at the bottom? Hope that makes sense! Love the top you had on today!

I made it till the 6th 😢. My local quilt shop had the clearance section on sale for $4.00 a yard! I fell off the wagon BIG time!😮

I was grocery shopping today at Walmart and bought a spool of thread. I'm bad!!! LOL Your hair is beautiful however you wear it. Although I couldn't wear mine longer on one side, I know alot of people do. So we'll see how you will like it that way. Have a good day.!

Pink grunge for sure with the Rose fabric. The grunge color card is well worth the $ . Saves you from buying the "wrong" color for a project if shopping online. 🙂

Regarding power outage issues. Do you know about battery back up/surge protector devises that cover 10 minutes to a longer amount of time. I use to have the 10 minute one. This gave me time to shut down my computer. Love your grunge colors that go with your fat quarter. ❤❤❤

Well, I lasted 7 days for No Buy July! The temptation to buy fabrics I love when they go on sale makes me weak to the cause! Four online quilt shops broke my desire to try not to buy. These sales will not come back sew "See It, Like It, Buy It! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

I like the pink the best.maybe just put a small bit of green. They both work though. You could do a power outage test on scrap fabrics just to see what happens. Get it going and flip the switch off on the surge protector while it's running. That way you know what to expect. I hope to own a longarm some day.

I love the winter quilt colors. I don't decorate for holidays but the seasonal quilts are a great idea. "Don't touch that dial" was something I heard a lot as a kid. Was it a specific radio or TV show that said it? I can't remember. I want to say a game show.

I won’t run my longarm during storms either. I am afraid of what could happen, like maybe rip my quilt. I also have a surge protector, but a big no way for me. I have been Longarm quilting for about 6 years now.

Thank you for showing us how to longarm quilt. I was planning to get a Handi Quilter with Pro Stitcher Lite. Does the machine continue back across right to left? I know the Grace machines sew back to the left.

I went to a quilt retreat on 1st and all purchases were 25% off. Including backing and quilting. I did keep control but I still failed. But nothing since.

2.5 rulers are the best. If you have 2 of them you can cut strips into squares quickly using the leap frog method. Quilting shops have “shop rulers” with their name on them that are 2.5 X 6 that are fun to collect.
