Thank you so much for posting this video. When I played this game and was very young in the mid ninetys; it was in arcades and rentals of this game for the super Nintendo. Sadly I never had enough quarters and could never afford to rent this game long enough to see the ending. Your video posted here is the first time that I have EVER seen the ending for this game. This is amazing and what I always thought Capcom shd have done. A street Fighter beat them up. Thanks for doing it. I would have gone even further by stages as countries to start with. For example Japan....and the boss of that stage being Ryu ...the boss stage ending on the classic SF2 Ryu background if that makes sense.

No. If you notice, Ryu starts off breaking things and taking stuff that wasn't his to begin with. That's when trouble walked in. The rest of the Mad Gear just trying to keep their neighborhood looking decent. Elgado's actions were appropriate in this sort of violent encounter. The speed of the knife thrown was not going to kill Ryu, but was an attempt to deter. Which Ryu did not.
