I love this video, but, looking through it there does not seem to be the Contra I remember (but, at my age, I am probably remembering it wrong.) That is the one where you play as a female character and you go around kicking police cars and you have to break into a facility. It was for the PS 1. Again, I am 99.999% wrong that it may of even been a Contra title at all, now this amazing video is here, that it was not called Contra, but it has been bugging me ever since! Sorry and thank you!

Shattered Soldier is by far my favorite Contra. It had some of the most gruesome monster designs and is probably the most brutal and relentless game I've ever played. On my first playthrough on easy I geniunely thought 99 credits with 8 lives each wouldn't be enough.

Contra 4 was the first game I ever owned that I actually bought by myself, it was my bday and I got all my bday money and told my brother if he could take me to a pawn shop, we went looking for a Gameboy advance sp, but I didn't find one so I bought a dsi XL, My first ever console. It's a shame nobody requests them, I mean they would have such an amazing and unique move set thanks to their guns, like they could start with the regular gun, and then be able to change into Laser, bomb or spread gun, sort of like Megaman does! And then both Bill and Lance's final smash could be maybe jump on a helicopter that comes by and drop nuclear bombs on the stage!

@@me-xz8zf Yeah, they would have been great in Smash. Plus, Contra has been on Nintendo consoles for decades, so they actually make a lot of sense to be in Smash Bros. Just imagine the awesome music from the games too. Such a missed opportunity.
