Watching some of your past videos. I share your love for the Care Bears. I had some figures - both large and small back in the 80s. Surprised my parents didnt but me an actual Care Bear stuffed animal. I think I had a plastic lunch box. I had a picture Disc record too. My boyfriend bought me a Care Bear shirt at Target a few months ago. My favorite Care Bears are still Funshine or Tenderheart Bear.

Funny you mention the wanting the big GI Joes to play with Barbies, over here we called them Action Man and I had several as a kid (even ended up randomly on a test panel for Prototype ones) and I'd nick my Sister Barbie Corvette for him to go Racing and the little bottles and the like for supplies.

Hi Jenn, I enjoyed your video and enjoyed seeing all the cool toys. I love the Care Bears lunch box. I think the toy is a monchhichi. The face looks similar to a small one that I have from my childhood. I looked it up and it’s a line of Japanese stuffed monkey toys created in 1974. Mattel had the license until 1985.

Hi Jen , I know you come to Hamilton Ontario cause you live not too far , we have an epic store here called Bounty Hunter toys that sells vintage toys BNIB and out of box similar to this shop. You should definitely come back with Jacob. I believe there are a couple vintage toy stores in the city

Interesting story about my Furby. I had put on my mother's shoulder it freaked her out and she threw it across the living room. Hit makes contact with the wall and starts going haywire. Making a loud sound like it was screaming in pain.

Time for you and Jacob to expand your pop culture knowledge beyond the 80s. Those astronaut toys? Major Matt Mason, Mattel's Man in Space. Huge toy line on the late 60s, at the height of the Apollo era. Amazing toys, amazing add ons and vehicles, including a glider that actually flew with MMM as the ballast, and a moonbase complex.
