And on this day I witnessed a BB player shoot at an enemy DD. I have not seen this in recent games. Thank you PQ for reminding Random players that BB’s are supposed to something other than lob from the back lines at enemy BB’s lobbing from their back lines. If you don’t protect your spotter, don’t complain while you enjoy eating torps and being blind. Great video!

Asking for Hipper is curel. That thing is extremely outclassed by Charles Martel, Tallinn and others. One of the worst T8 ships to face that horrible matchmaking at this tier.

@@ManuR-l4m have you played it? It has the best AP after Baltimore and Tallin and smashes any cruiser going broadside. It has decent AA, and it’s Miles better than Charles Martel.

@@ElvroomGames Yes i did play it. There was even a time when i liked to play it in ranked quite alot. The AP does high damage, true. But it tends to overpen or shatter alot. Also no improved accuracy on just 8 guns is meh. It comes down to taste. But your take that Hipper is far batter than CM is hilarious. The latter has better conceal, both speed and reload booster, which is huge, but most importantly: Useful HE. I ve had a blast playing it recently. The only things Hipper has over it are better Hydro, a tiny bit more range and more yolo torp power. In this meta of almost no use. Sry, but Hipper just sucks. Being slow and eating shit while only being able to punish cruiser broadsides (what almost all other heavy cruisers also can, some even better) but getting forced to spam that terrible HE DDs laugh at most of the time just makes you feel crippled. Dont get me wrong. Im german and i wish that some german ships wouldnt be that bad. Many of them are just old and powercrept. German cruisers need at least the IJN cruiser dispersion buff and/or improved pen angles. Still dont get it why this line didnt get the latter right away as so called AP focused ships. Tallinn just laughs at Hipper for that reason alone.

Bad conceal and giant superstructure suck of course. But people sleep on Freddies and Preussens reload. Together with Repub they re the few BBs where the quantity of the shots matter more than the quality. If you get to shoot on every reload you will get big damage. And you catch more people on the turn or close before going behind an island.

Furious/HAP is what I have been running on my Preussen and it works great. I take FP over CE. In fact I build both Preussen and FdG for main guns. Schlieffen is the secondary line, no point in forcing secondaries on ships that don't do it as well. Especially not with the Pan-Am BBs coming out that are going to be better mid-range secondary BBs anyways.

My buddy Megatallica running Long Range Accuracy build Preussen and GK used to evangelize this build ALL DAY. People would call him out as BSing, until they play with/against him, and he woudl long range DUMPSTER ppl with this build. He never took Furious, but this was 2+ years ago.

Secondaries do feel like a bait at times. It's not like the Preussen's secondaries are accurate enough to hit at 11-12.5km, and you still have 9.2km range with them which is what I think is around the sweet spot to start doing significant damage.

Main gun buld Schlieffen as the WG describes that line has good accuracy. So why not make it better and maybe hybrid build if you can squeeze that in. 😅

It's easy to get the reload down to 12 or 13 seconds and thats heavy cruiser reload on 457mm guns. I run the gun build on mine and love it.

I feel like superstructure takes far far to much damage I feel like superstructure damage negates basically all armour especially when you can take 30k off a ship with hits there German BBS are covered is very effective armour but they are known to be easy targets because of the superstructure... If superstructure damage was changed it could help reduce the passive metta

I got pommern from a free container. I only play it in brawls now. Have a lot of guns but the accuracy is so trolly. I shot at a Duncan 6km away and almost all the shells missed... Salvo before I got citadels.

I have an argument with a dude that insisted in SHAP and Furious on Preussen is a good build. He give me a couple of gameplay, All of them he just camping and not pushing at all. Lmao why do it when you have all them armor and a turtle back? You can't even win games with that kind of passive play anyway.
