Ryan I gotta tell you, it's a rock solid concrete company you're running. I work for a small crew who does concrete microtoppings and resin coatings, a lot of overlap with your type of work! Im lucky we have great guys and my boss treats me like a cousin! He's one of my best friends. He's a nice guy and a hard worker just like you, not above working with the guys or helping out with deliveries. You got a special thing, a lot of the guys in the concrete industry can be quite rough to say the least!

Hi Ryan, I really enjoy your videos. I have been in the surveying, civil engineering, construction industry for over 30 years. I worked in private sector over 15 years and 15 years with the Texas DOT. I have seen a lot of concrete pours from patios, parking lots, foundations and bridges. A good concrete crew is essential to a great finished product. Your crew is so entertaining to watch and I appreciate the things you do to provide a great finished product that will last. One thing I notice is you never show your crew applying sunscreen or taking measures to protect themselves from the sun. In Texas most crews I work with have big brim hats, long sleeve cotton shirts, sun glasses and they use sun screen. I know so many contractors and workers that have lost ears or parts of their nose to skin cancer. It seems like a hassle to do it but believe me it will pay off in the future. Stay safe and keep making great videos!

Starting my first day as a ready mix cement driver in a few days. Been watching a bunch of YT videos on the pouring part but I really enjoy watching these videos because it's interesting to see how yall do the job and I also get an idea of how to pour cement whenever the driver comes in. Never done concrete work but have done many different construction jobs, I want to say I really enjoy watching your videos and all the hard work you, your crew, and your daughter put in doing these videos. As a former supervisor I admire the way you take care of your crew, and as a father admire ever more the way you take care of your family .Keep putting in the honest tough work, I wish one day I could find a way to provide for my family doing something I love and be able to see them every day.

Good morning. Got up cause I wasn't feeling too hot and decided to check the KZbin and see if anything was posted. Got notification for the video. At least Daryl was honest about his nap and since he didn't know how to fix the rope he searched KZbin. Normally someone would say just ask, but he did take the initiative to try and learn himself. I hate asking for help unless it's absolutely the last resort. I'm not a super smart person so I try to at least take the time to try my best.

When u doweled the slab ,good idea to grease one end so slab can still shrink ,but won’t sink , Locking in with dowels and no expansion doesn’t allow for any movement as concrete moves .,nice job like always.
