But she immediately started reading it. 2 hours later, i was binge watching euphoria suddenly i hear a bash. I completed 'it starts with us' today and i absolutely agree with you when you say this book shouldn't exist!😭 i was so bored throughout the book! Searching for a purpose why this book was written and where tf is the plot meant to go! Huh....somehow i still completed it and only liked the last maybe 25-30 pages THATS IT! this book should've been over in a 2 chap epilougue😭💀

i 100% agree with love and other words. so many people loved that book and i felt like i had to as well. but after about 60% of the book, it just fell flat for me and finding out why macy and elliot stopped talking made me uncomfortable. i also felt like the ending was rushed

Hey Nikki I totally agree to your review on The Fine Print I swear I have struggled 3.5 months finishing it and with all respect it was the worst book I’ve read too. It has demotivated me in every way to read another book but after your recommendation I’ve ordered “people we meet on vacation” and I’m really excited to dig in just because I trust so much and I have high hopes. Another thing to mention I had ordered “terms and conditions “ too before starting Fine Print but I think it’s going straight to my trash cuz I can’t trust Lauren Asher again😅

Exactly that's the point,it ends with us is not a romance novel, it's not lilly and ryle love story it was not lilly and atlas love story either. It was Lilly's story , Her life story where ryle and atlas were a important part . But it's not a romance book dude . Its a story about a woman coming out from a abusive relationship

As soon as you started saying how the bull rider was described in the book i thought, "hmmm that's now how the bull riders ive seen look". Honestly I dont think anyone knows how to write a main male character in a romance and not describe him as big, broad, tall, etc. I love Romance but the only physical differences between books is usually hair style/color, and eye color. Other than that it's 6 pack abs, rippling muscles, tall, and 9+ inches below the belt. It should be easy to describe a bull rider as they actually are but it's like authors think anything other than the above wont be viewed as attractive to the reader, which is just crazy.

I am with you on Beach Read. I just didn't find it interesting. The main character was boring. Also, the whole neighbor thing was just a weird concept to me. Oh and the ending was weird. In the middle of the book, I think at one point they visited a graveyard and I was so lost lol. Yeah, they were on a lake somewhere not on a beach.

And I literally bought things we hide from the light just before watching your video 😭😭 because I'm currently reading by a thread and am actually enjoying it so far. Did you read it? I don't get the hate with colleen hoover. I loved ugly love too. I'm like, come on kids, it's in the title, it's going to be messy! Don't read her if you don't enjoy her style. I only disagree with LAOW that I absolutely loved and felt the exact same way you did by it with every summer after 😅 I did dnf flawless too and I'm sorry but didn't enjoy powerless 😭 I had high hopes because I love friends to lovers and liked the glimpses we had from Jasper/Sloane in heartless but was so disappointed. If you still wanna try E. Silver, I think heartless was by far the best one. The characters combo was great. Another series I didn't enjoy as much as I thought I was going to was the bergman brothers by C. Liese that I'd heard had similar vibes to the winstons brothers (by P. Reid) which was clearly not the case. They're not comparable at all. I love the winstons so much!!! And Get a life Chloe brown literally put me in my reading slump. I don't enjoy the author's style I guess. Now, we need some more book recommendations from you! I really do trust your reviews and am in desperate need of 5 stars books. My last 5 stars was the roughest draft which I read thanks to you 😘

30:40 I 💯 agree with your perspective of where the crawdad sings. The thriller aspect is poor; we know what’s going to happen. Also, half of it reads as a nature book. It’s a description of the marsh. I remember at some point I was just rolling my eyes like “WE GET IT! The marsh is cool, good lord”. Also, how many times do I need to read about a girl cooking grits? When started to rant and rave about it, I was completely flabbergasted. I could name a dozen better thrillers. A dozen better contemporary fiction novels. It doesn’t hold a candle. I remember thinking, “did we read the same book?!” Anyway. I agree. 😂

Very interesting video! I am totally with you when it comes to It ends with us, Love & other words and Beach read - didn’t like any of these (beach read being my least favorite). Where the crawdads sing was also very middle of the road for me. Haven’t read the first ones you mentioned yet, and now I’m scared ahaha And I’ll tell you more: I really dislike the brown sisters trilogy. It baffles me how it’s everyone’s favorite.

I totally agree with you about It Starts With Us, that book is simply fanservice and shouldn't even exist. I wish Colleen would have stick to her mind and not give the fans what they asked. I put it off for more than 4 months since it came out, read it, yes enjoyed because I love Colleen but... if it didn't exist it was the same. For me, a book that I can't understand the hype is... The Spanish Love Deception. I'm sorry, but I HATED it. It took me 2.5 months to finish it, it was so boring, characters were honestly useless and not at all interesting. I was constantly falling asleep, had to switch to audiobook (which I don't particularly enjoy) just to finish it. I was giving up on Elena Armas, but ended up reading the next one and was much better. Also didn't particularly enjoy The Love Hypothesis, no reason in particular, it just didn't hook me up and I already forgot completely what the plot.

Beach read surprised me in a very bad way. The character whined how women fiction and romance is frowned upon, and then goes and writes this “masterpiece” in the end. The premise of this “masterpiece” is so stupid, I was astonished that Emily Henry would think that this is a good book.
