Super ILLEGAL Leg Entanglement - "Classic Reap"

If you're going to break the rules, might as well do it right! Coach James shows some leg entanglements which are banned at virtually all levels of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competition (with the exception of Pro Divisions and MMA fights). This video demonstrates the proper way to use the "Classic Reap" to set up a Straight Ankle Lock, Reverse Ankle Lock, Toe Hold, and Heel Hook-which used to be common practice leg positioning.

Agreed. I use to run a tournament called Extreme Grappling Open (EGO). We allowed reaping at all belt levels. We never had a single injury. During the rules meetings that rule was always met with applause.
