Yes, as you saw, Heechul was in the "2Ya2Yao" MV, but he didn't have any lines in the song because he is no longer able to travel on long flights overseas, so for this comeback he chose to not sing on the song.He did this so that when the rest of the members go overseas and want to perform this song in concert, etc. they won't have to learn whole new parts to cover his parts of the song. Heechul really loves his members and he knows how hard it is when you have to learn a whole new lineup and blocking, etc. every time one of the members is not there. So, he chose to bow out of singing or anything on this track to make promotions for the rest of the members easier. In the last few years, Heechul's role in SJs MVs and performances has gotten smaller because of some medical issues he has been going through. Early in his career he shattered his leg in a car accident about a year after debut and had to have major surgery where they had to put several pins and metal rods in his leg. He has had to deal with a lot of pain over the years, especially when he dances, because of this. However, for most of his career he was able to overcome the pain and just power through as he performed with the group. But as he has gotten older the pain has gotten worse and he is constantly worried about dragging the rest of the group down because he struggles to keep up with the rest of the members in their dances. Which is kind of sad, because if you know Heechul, you know he is a dancing machine and he absolutely loves to dance and be the center of attention. Heechul is pretty much obsessed with being a performer and he knows the song and dance for almost any Kpop artist or group, both boy groups and girl groups, that have been in existence since Kpop's conception. But, now that he is 36 years old, he has decided that what is best for the group is if he just sits out any of their live comeback performances where they perform their choreography -- and even their most recent concert tour. However, he still participates in as many of Super Junior's things as he can and the members make sure to include him in as much as possible.. Over the years Super Junior has come up with ways to include Heechul in everything they do, often by highlighting his other talents, such as making him the guitar player in "Lo Siento" or having him play the drums during concert performances of "Don't Don" or giving him the rap sections in their songs so he can come out halfway through the performance and deliver his lines and only have to dance for a short time or not have to dance at all. Heechul loves being a part of Super Junior and I think he will be one of the last people to ever consider leaving the group. But it breaks my heart that these health issues have made it almost impossible for him to do what he loves to do the most, which is being on stage performing with the rest of the members. Heechul really lives for the stage.

Zico's a great producer, and I love that he was able to create something totally different in colour to what Suju had done recently and give them the means to show that they're every bit as capable of this kind of style and concept as they are the others they've been doing. The beat does remind me of some of Block B's songs, it must have been nice for Zico to do something with a group in mind again. But it made me think you boys haven't really gone into Block B much, so you definitely should! Nilili Mambo, Her, Yesterday, Shall We Dance, Toy, and Zero For Conduct especially...

Super Junior know exactly what they are doing. They haven't been in the business for this long without knowing how to continuously remake their style and sound to keep themselves relevant and fresh. That is why even after almost 15 years they still dominate in everything they do. The song for "2Ya2Yao" was a collaboration between SJ and Zico, who is a solo hip-hop artist and producer, as well as a member of the Kpop boy group Block B. He is a Kpop artist who isn't even under SM Entertainment. Zico produced this song, and Shindong -- one of the members of Super Junior -- directed and produced the MV. Shindong has his own video production company and he is quickly becoming well known for his directing and video editing skills, as well as a rapper, dancer and singer of one of Kpop's legendary groups. Super Junior are the ones that create the trends and aren't afraid to do something different. They are a group that BTS and EXO look up to and respect. BTS and EXO hope to follow in SuJu's footsteps and still be as popular and relevant when they have been in the business as long as Super Junior has been. BTS and EXO are babies compared to SJ. Super Junior have been in the industry for about twice as long as BTS and EXO, and the things that SJ have done in the industry are why BTS and EXO are able to reach such a large audience and become as popular as they are. Super Junior is one of the main groups who brought Kpop to the world. You're right 2Ya2Yao" is much more hip-hop heavy then a lot of Super Junior's songs you have heard. Zico said he wanted to make a song for SJ that had the style and sound that the young kids are coming out with, to prove that SJ still are on top of the game. But if you haven't heard any of SJ's hip-hop influence previous to this, then you just haven't heard enough of their songs or performances from them. if you want to hear more of SuJu's hip-hop/darker style, check out Super Junior-D&E's song "Danger." Super Junior have always been ahead of their time. They have such a wide range of songs and styles that they appeal to almost everyone, you just have to find your jam. For example, they are one of the first groups to take their style and sound to Latin America. As you have heard, one of their recent styles of music is Latin infused Kpop and they have been working with famous Latin artists, collaborating to combine Korean, Spanish and English to create a perfect blend of cultures, paving the way in a new direction that has never been done before. Latin America is pretty much an untapped market when it comes to Kpop, and Super Junior have a very large Spanish speaking fan base, so for the past couple of years, as I think you know, they have been producing music for their Latin fans and focusing concert tours and promotions in South America. Their previous album Time Slip is their 9th full length album, and this repackaged album, Timeless, adds 4 new songs to the mix, which includes "2Ya2Yao". Their discography also includes a multitude of mini albums. Plus, they have 5 sub-unis -- Super Junior-K.R.Y. (made up of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- SJ's main vocalists), Super Junior-D & E (made up of Donghae and Eunhyuk), Super Junior-T (Trot -- which is like a cross between the equivalent of western old-style country music and cabaret music. Its older-style Korean pop music that's all about being kind of cheesy, fun and over the top.), Super Junior-M (Mandarin Chinese) and Super Junior-H (Happy). And they have 13/12 members in total, and most of them also have solo tracks and albums. So yes, they have plenty of songs to check out, as well as numerous live performances and concert footage. Super Junior was the first group to ever hold 100 concerts back in 2014, and there have been dozens more since then. I guarantee that Super Junior has done pretty much every type of music in their career -- from hard core rock with songs like "Don't Don" to cute and funny like "Cooking Cooking" by Super Junior-H. Whatever style you are in the mood for, you can find a SuJu song that fits that genre.

Zico and Super Junior are both my biases so this song is like a dream come true for me. I knew it was going to be lit from the moment they announced it. Super Junior has so much talent and they're so versatile and Zico, besides being extremely talented himself, is an excellent producer. He knows how to get the best out of the people he works with. Now if I could just get Zico to work with Bigbang and Bang Yongguk, my wishlist would be complete.

The first Kpop group I ever heard thanks to an asian friend in 2005 who turned me on to the song "Miracle". I was a casual fan until 2009 and the song "It's You" which is still one of my favorite songs of all times that I have probably played thousands of times. Of course in the same year the song "Sorry Sorry" came out. Probably the most well known and covered Kpop song of all time. It kills me when people complain that in their 30's they are too old when as an American we are used to some of the highest grossing artists being in their 30's, 40's, 50's and older.

Yes, Zico is the producer but it was not entirely produced by him though. Another producer that worked on the song is Dem Jointz and the reason why it reminded you of Exo production is exactly because of him. Dem Jointz has worked with Exo on "Obsession" among the others, Nct's "Cherry Bomb" and their latest "Kick It" as well. You can definitely hear his influence in all of these latest three songs. Gotta give credit where it's due. ✌️
