Cmiiw. This music video was created to celebrate "Super Junior The Second Asia Tour Concert-Super Show 2". Because at that time, their 3rd album containing "sorry-sorry and its you" was so popular with fans.

Btw, Why this song has the same tone as EXO songs. I think it's because, EXO is the perfect version of Suju who was at first just a prototype project group and suddenly became popular. And what kind of deficiency Suju has, SM tried to cover it up at Exo. Then be Exo we know now. The song certainly describes "The Perfect Suju". It is also produced by Yo Young Jin(YYJ), the great producer behind the cool songs of SM. You can also see the quality of YYJ here, because he also fills the adlibs here.

Oh don't worry ELF don't get easily offended, we know is coming from a appreciation point of view, and out of pure shock 🤣 You've just scratching the surface of SJ, they have well over 500 songs, so yeah, still lots of shocking discoveries and lots of clownery to come! The shirtless guy is Yesung, my bias and a bit of the black sheep (or turtle 🐢), he has, what they called, a 4D personality and is very very random. His voice is really special and I must admit that it took me a while (like 3 weeks) to fully appreciate it, he has many solo songs, and many colabs. If you want more recent vocals, I love Raining spell for love (the remix-live version) or Islands (even if Yesung is not there), Memories (from the SS9), Yesung shines in that one! well all of them do, but I'm a bit biased 😅☁☁💙💙

@@hallyureviewsus Yesung is very popular, lots of Clouds out there, his fandom is usually called Cloud, because of his birth name (but he changed it recently). Oh and he has a tatoo of a cloud inside an UFO (ovni is in Spanish), because that's him being ok with things, even if it's aliens kidnapping him... I did say he is random 💙 All of the members have individual fandoms as well, and some of them also have animals to represent them. Oh but we are all ELFs above all, so we will support all the members doesn't matter who your bias is.

Fun facts, altough Super Junior known for their catchy dancing song, many ELF sucker for their ballads. And they have plenty, given how insanely good vocalist they are. Sadly this heaven vocals song rarely known outside our fandom I see ELF has mentioned Sorry2 Answer live with Yesung pink hair, and Raining Spell for Love live recording, but you should react to Memories too. This song held a high rank in our list. I reckon Memories from SS7 (without Kyuhyun and Ryeowook, but Yesung go mad on this one) and Memories from SS9 (full member) You're welcome 😂

Exactly! You see my dilemma. I can see it as a version when we hit the chorus, but not the rest. Thanks milinda - I'll take that as the definitive answer, you are the fact queen! If you want to keep on the smooth SuJu path, I reckon it would be perfect timing for This is love and Evanesce. I guess everyone has told you the MV's are linked? Just as with Sorry Sorry & Sorry Sorry Answer, I think you'll want to watch them close together if not as a double. If you want to keep with the surprise factor, can I add House Party and bump it up the list? IMO you need to start with the MV (with eng sub) to get the full impact of the song. They also did two special videos (House/Alone) to thank ELF for the number of views and they are both really fun to check out at some point too. And fun fact, since you mentioned EXO: Yoo Young-jin, who everyone has mentioned provided some of the vocals in this, and composed both Sorry Sorry and Sorry Sorry Answer, also composed Mama. "Sorry Sorry Answer" was released in 2009 just like "Sorry Sorry" was, but as you noticed, they have completely different vibes. Although "Sorry Sorry Answer" has a few of the same lines and samples the melody from "Sorry Sorry" -- this was not the ballad version of "Sorry Sorry" -- they are separate songs that are considered partner songs because the story kind of continues from one song to the next. "Sorry Sorry" was first and "Sorry Sorry Answer" comes next because it's their answer to what they are talking about in "Sorry Sorry." Fun fact: One way you can tell that this MV was from 2009 is because Hangeng (Super Junior's Chinese member, and the first non-Korean member of a Kpop group) is in these MVs and he left the group in 2010. There are 11 members of the original 13 member main group of SuJu in this MV -- Leeteuk, Heechul, Hangeng, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun. Kibum did not participate in this song and KangIn was the first of the SuJu members to enlist in the military, so he had just left for the military right before this. (However, all 13 members are in "Sorry Sorry.") The Studio version of "Sorry Sorry Answer," which you just heard, is good, but you haven't truly experienced just how great this song is until you hear the live performance sung by Super Junior-K.R.Y. because even though the Sorry Sorry harmony parts are sung by all the members in the MV and album version, "Sorry Sorry Answer" is really K.R.Y.'s song.(That is why you primarily only see K.R.Y. singing in the MV. The main runs and adlibs aren't even sung by any of the SuJu members in the MV -- SM's producer and vocal coach Yoo YoungJin is the voice you hear.) Super Junior- K.R.Y. is one of Super Junior's 6 sub-units and this unit is made up of SJ's 3 main vocalists (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung -- hence the name K.R.Y. ), who are 3 of the best vocalists in the industry. Once you hear it live in concert you will understand what I mean. That is one thing you will get to know about Super Junior -- they are amazing performers and singers, but they are also one of the craziest and weirdest groups around. You will never know what to expect from them. And they are constantly switching up their style and sound. With so many members and with so many sub-units, as well as the fact that their career spans so many years, they have pretty much covered all aspects of the entertainment industry and all styles of music and dance. Once you get to know them better, you will see that they are more unique than any other Kpop group out there. So many of SuJu's members personalities are completely polar opposite of each other that it makes for a very unique and unusual dynamic within their group, but that's what makes them so special. When the group was originally put together they were supposed to be a project group that would only be together for a few months, so SM didn't really create the group with a specific concept or style, so the members are very diverse. And I think that is one of the reasons why SuJu's sound and style is much more organic and fluid because it's constantly changing and evolving like how SM originally had planned for the group. In the beginning SM planned for the members to leave Super Junior '05 and become members of different groups, etc., but because of the love of E.L.F. they ended up staying together as a permanent group. So the way the group was formed and the members were chosen is a little differently than most Kpop groups.

@@hallyureviewsus In total Super Junior had/has 3 Chinese members -- Hengeng, Henry and Zhoumi. Hangeng debuted in 2005 as an original member of Super Junior and then Henry and Zhoumi were added to the group in 2008 when SM formed the very first Mandarin Chinese sub-unit Super Junior-M, which also included Korean members: Siwon, Ryeowook, Donghae and Kyuhyun. (Super Junior was the first group to ever have non-Korean members -- Hangeng and Zhoumi are from mainland China and Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian.Then when Super Junior-M leader Hangeng left the group, they added Korean members Sungmin and Eunhyuk to the sub-unit. Super Junior-M lived in China for several months in order to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and to force their Korean members to become proficient in Mandarin, etc. Super Junior-M is one of the very first Kpop groups to break into the Chinese music market and they are pretty much the group that created the idol music industry in China. Super Junior is still pretty big in China even though they haven't been able to promote in the country since before 2016. And Super Junior-M is the whole reason why EXO-M and WayV even exist.

@@LukLouise yes, it was Taiwan and just so you know, I never said it was mainland China. :D SM always starts out in Taiwan and then branches out into other Chinese territories. :D For marketing purposes, Kpop companies consider Taiwan to be part of China. However, I am aware that it's an independent territory from mainland China. I was a Kpop fan when SuJu was promoting in Taiwan, I watched all their appearances and vlogs during that time.

Ha ha ha ha! Yeah…this is Super Junior. You really can’t pinpoint things with them. They’ve done it all and still continue to try new things. The K.R.Y.version you should check out is the one where Yesung has pink hair. 😊 In the MV, some of the vocal runs (super belty R&B) and bits are sung by Yoo YoungJin (he’s also the composer.) He’s a powerhouse producer and vocal trainer with SM. (Not sure if he’s there anymore but he’s worked with everyone there.) Mmm…I believe that Sorry, Sorry - Answer is a R&B remix. They also did Sorry, Sorry - Answer and Sorry Sorry in SS8. Oh more live vocals….check out “More Days with You”(I’m thinking of the Mnet version), “Raining Spell for Love - Remake ver. LSM wanted a main group which has many talented idols on different areas which would later on divide and expand to subgroups and his first try was Super Junior with the first ever Chinese member in a kpop group, 3 main vocals,3 main dancers, mc.s, comedians in it.SuJu has the 1st ever Kpop group with sub-units. But there was strong opposition from fans when 2 more Chinese members added and SuJu-M debuted. Fans wanted to protect OT13members as there were talks of SuJu to be disbanded (so even bought company shares). His 2nd try (SuJu 2.0) was with EXO(main group) divided into Exo-K(to promote in SK) and Exo-M(promote in China).After Chinese members left except for Lay the groups united and continued as Exo. His last try (SuJu 3.0) when he finally fulfilled his idea is NCT(main group) with many subgroups. That's why you can see many similarities among these groups especially in their vocal layerings. In SM you'll find lots correlations among groups. Like Shinee/F(x)/Riize, SES/Aespa The MVs are mostly linked to other artists mvs.

@@hallyureviewsus not officially but most older pinkbloods (sm stans) who knows the history refers them as such. They always say NCT is what LSM failed to achieve with SuJu. Even if I'm not mistaken, LSM himself talked about that when NCT system finally succeeded. He said he was too ahead of time with SuJu and fans weren't ready to accept such a change. SJ having 13 members itself all alone was too unconventional at that time as they are the first group to have that many members.
