This is one of the group that really "paved the way" fpr kpop. Even tho so many fandom claim "pave the way" title, it's only eligible for kings and queens from 2nd gen. SuJu, Bigbang, SNSD, 2ne1,Wondergirls,TVXQ There're just too many. The golden era of Kpop indeed! And the best thing from that era is, even tho the dance are hard or easy, we always hear their voice louder and clearer than backtrack. Love u SuJu, the king of Hallyu wave!

The fact that until now suju is still & far more popular in other countries than in korea itself after 15 years of career is also proof that they are indeed one of the hallyu star who made way for kpop to be acknowledged in other countries. There are also the other 2nd gen group play the role and suju one of them. And what amazed me suju one of the few 2nd gen group that still active making album until now, Eventhough they said that they are not hoping to winning an award or be number 1, they just want to be together as long as they could 😭

I remember in an episode of Suju Donghae & Eunhyuk’s radio when Seventeen was the guests, Hoshi said that thanks to Suju who paved the way and spread Hallyu outside Korea, it’s easier for the next generation groups like them to have the possibility to grow and reach further internationally. Agree or not, the importance of the 2nd gen is undeniable and was recorded in history. Kpop fans who have been following Kpop since the early days def can understand. Such a golden era.
