So in addition to not having consistent or matching choreography, it's also really hard to do the thing right if they don't have all the members present, since the positions rely on one another and don't make sense separately.

a little explanation behind spy: it is a VERY tight dance with a lot of sharp movements and can really only be executed with the original number of members, it’s a group dance at its core. the dance is hard asf and the formation/positions are central to making it work. it’s also old as hell so they’ve probably forgotten the dance for the most part, especially considering the difficulty level and the fact that they’re a few members short now i highly recommend watching a performance of it, you’ll never see them do it now but damn if that dance isn’t cool as hell
