Mine sounds like s coffee grinder but without the motor noise. After a few minutes it sounds more like this.

It sounds just like the ceiling fan I have in my living room.

Nice to know we can see and hear a noisy fan. Be nicer if you tell, show what to NOT have noisy fan. How, wear to lubricate.

I did! I have another video where I take the fan apart and lube the bearings. It's not very good. The fan is still in operation every day of the week. Thanks for commenting!

Did you ask your significant other the same question or did you just assume the best places to apply the lube and go with it, if it didnt work then dud you just give up and let it hurt em or did you try reapplying it in different areas so everything went smoothly?? Same schpeal here.. if you still hear complaining than you didnt do it right. If you simply just cant figure it out than somebody will end up doing the job for you..

How do you oil these?

I have these fans in my house but my dad says he doesn't want to oil them, It makes a contact whooshing bearing noise

Mine really hums now. I think it's the motor. I keep the speed at medium, but the low setting is SUPER loud. High setting is the quietest but moves too much air.

I like the white noise

We've gotten used to it over 7 years. It sounds like something is wrong when the power goes out and it stops. :D

Hello and thank you for watching and commenting! You can watch my repair video at the link below to see how to clean the bearings and re-lubricate them to quiet your fan down. Good luck on your repair! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZ7XdKp4f9uqbLs

Oil the bearings...you can use a spray with a spray tube or take the fan down and use a lubricant like 3in1 or 5w30 motor oil. I used 5w30 with an additive of motorkote...but first used a spray lubricant to get it moving.

It looks like you need to fix your hugger ceiling fan blades if it is bent and it looks crooked to me if you have 4 blades on your ceiling fan.

Thanks for stopping in and commenting! That fan is still up and frankly, it runs at medium just about 24/7 365. If it's quiet in the room, the motor hums terribly and the bearings are now clicking. It's usually not quiet enough for the fan to bug me. Stay well!

Mine is more noisy than that fan. Mine is super squeaky.
