Hi Santanu, I would say it is useful to capture wide shots, also focus points are OK. there is a thread in the front to attach filter. However this I would recommend if you are with less budget. Hi Md Towfiq you can see the thread size on top of the lens. So for 50 mm prime lens you need with thread size 49mm converter. I would not recommend a convertor, if you have budget then go for Sigma 24-70 F2.8 Zoom lens this covers both wide angle as well as close shot.

@shrutimandeori8124 it does not vignette at 18 mm, however there will be a black circle like you are looking from a keyhole. so not great for wide angle. If you have a budget then go for a wide angle lens cannon 10-18 mm EF-S lens would be good choice cheap and best.

@@shrutimandeori8124 The keyhole ffect disappear at 24mm but it has slight fish eye effect . But from 35mm and 55mm it is great, and give bit wide coverage to normal kit lens.

Hey Defuse3e this works with lens with thread size of 58mm. This means you can use this attachment with T5i (yes) with kit lens and telephoto lens with thread size of 58mm. This is not camera dependent, it is lens dependent with thread size only.

Please clean your lenses. I can tell the lens from the second camera is also dirty. Please also lower ISO on test camera for proper quality comparison. Also before and after (on and off) footage would have been more valuable comparison content.
