I'm gonna make up a fairy tale of the invincibility leafs. Back in the dark ages, the ac timeliness, all universes were is despair and darkness. All biengs were tortured by the hallucinations and possessions of hell. Demons could transport from hell to life, just like the imps in heluva boss. Demons roamed this universe for quite some time, humans were tortured because they had no oxygen, not until heaven was created. No one knows how heaven was created, but heaven shielded all of humanity from evil by creating the source of all wonder, the source of infinite power and oxygen, holy trees. The branches of the holy trees somehow pushed all demons and darkness off the face of the universe and back to hell. The leaves of the holy trees look exactly like the leaves that mario used to go invincible. The holy tree leaves are what keeps humanity safe, happy, and carefree. Those leaves are however absolutely not to be taken off the branches at all, it could ruin time or rip apart half of the solar system. A single demon remained on earth even though the others were gone, that demon's name is lunikai, that demon faked bieng a human just to get to one of the hidden holy trees. Instead of taking the leaves off, he decided to cut off the wood on the bottom instead with a hellsaw. A single swing with the hellsaw on the wood shook the earth and the angels killed the demon emiediatly before he took another swing. That single swing wiped out all trunks and wood of the holy trees but not the leaves, all the leaves were kept safe from getting wiped out. The Angel's could travel at light speed, so they rescued all the leaves emiediatly and put then back on earth when everything was ok. When they put the leaves back on earth and all other planets, they put them in lucky boxes to hide them in places where they know that no human bieng would be able to find. Somehow mario found one of those leaves.
