I was so close to beating the game back in 2015, but when my DS stoped working I was never able to beat the game after playing it for three years. Plus for some reason that last bowser level was really difficult for me.

God this game had such a rare concept, you can play as Wario and Yoshi in a game that isn't featured around them, Yoshi isn't used as a power up and is an actual character and you start the game out as him instead of Mario and even the hat switching thing is unique and I always thought it was cool how you see your character on the map wearing the other persons hat, they need to make a part 3 where you can play was Waluigi, not to mention the fact that you can punch and kick

Yes, but I dunno why almost everyone preferes the N64 version with all that horrible polygons, less levels and lees mechachincs and only one character. Mario games are not welcome when there's more than Mario and Luigi playable.

SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE UNLOCKING WARIO You MUST have 30 stars or higher, if you gather every single star in the paintings, look for secrets stars within the castle You HAVE to had beaten Bowser in the first star door. You also have to beat bowser a second time, go downstairs and if you have 30+ stars, it’ll let you into the 2nd star room below (it’ll only accept Mario at first but once you unlock the door with Mario then you can play as whatever character you like) Once you finally finish that, then watch the video.

Finally, I played this game when I was like 5 and I have faint memories of Wario being in the game, so I was really dissapointed when I didn't find him in the Switch version. Luckily I heard something in a video about the DS version being different from the OG, the DS version was the one I played so I am happy to find out that he acctually was in the game and that I wasn't totally crazy :)

I never got to rescue wario😓I spent my whole childhood 13 years ago trying to find him😠😣. So much work and dedication, but I at least rescued peach and got Mario and Luigi. This game was tough, addicting, and I remember wishing there was someone to help me cuz lol it was so much work for me. Awww thanks to this game for my entire childhood, my dad got me the ds and the game. It brings back memories when my dad was still here too 😓😭. This game really marked my life, no joke. jason sims Mario is the only one who can use the wing cap, wall jump and use the Balloon power-up, Luigi is the only one who can float downward, run on water for a couple of seconds, use the vanish cap and has an excellent jump height and length (as well as Yoshi) and Wario has more strength than other characters, can use the Metal Cap, break large black boxes and kill MR. Blizzard with ease. Yoshi is the only one who can make eggs to use as projectiles, flutter upwards and spit fire. He can also instantly transform into any character.
