One thing I really love. Is the complex things in games. The behind the waterfall one is so well done. You go into the basement. Then the underground. Then you go into more goo. Then you're behind the waterfall. It's soooo well done. Love it

Hands down one of my favourite things in games is those sort of secret passages/shortcuts to previous areas; It really makes the game feel way more connected in a way, like these levels aren’t just separate worlds of their own, but could still be reached by conventional means. And of course, it’s just really mind blowing when you find one!

Ah the feeling of nostalgia. I played this 10 years ago took me months and months possibly played the game for a whole year to collect all 150 stars. I played this on the first big fat silver DS. Mine was a Japanese copy so I never knew what was really going on. Just played and played until I figured out how to collect all stars. The moment I collected them all without any help at all felt so great. I remember being able to fly from top of the castle

For those of you struggling on your last star I'd recommend checking the score for each player account. Shows you all the stars you've gotten from each course including the 100 coin star and how many secret stars you have. I was missing one star in sand land and saved me time from having to go over all of these. Watched to see which one I was missing from secret stars since I'm going for all stars before final bowser fight

I have 7 stars and 100 coin stars for all 15 courses. I got the 8 glowing rabbits. I completed The Princess's Secret Slide under 21 seconds AND over. I got 3 stars from taking to Toads. I got two secret stars for each character-unlocking boss battle stage and every Bowser stage. I got every star I could, and even got 100 coins in the Goomboss battle stage. SO WHY THE HECK CAN'T I FIND THE FINAL STAR!?!?!?

Goombario The 2nd There are two hidden stars in the waterfall accessible from the Labyrinth Cave, two in the hole that you can only access with Wario, and another two in the back garden (one is red coins from the Boo, the another one are Silver Stars in a hidden hole)

Another way to get the glowing rabit star is to go into the courtyard with Luigi, above the door is a compartment. Sometimes a glowing rabit appears in there and it's Realy easy to catch. Continuously go back and forth through that door.

Finalmente, desde 2014 que tengo 149 estrellas, he terminado esto, muchas gracias, para los desesperados que les falta poco LES DIGO: me ví el video completo y creí que ya había conseguido todos los niveles secretos, pero no, el que yo no tenía era el del Big Boo Battle atrás del cuadro con Luigi, busquen estrella por estrella, si no saben si les falta niveles secretos o no, revísenlo en el DS, cuando le ponen pausa en la pantalla de arriba les salen los niveles del castillo y el número de monedas conseguidas en el, en la pantalla de abajo hasta arriba en la esquinas podrán picarle para ver los demás niveles, (HAY UNA SECCIÓN QUE DICE EL NÚMERO DE ESTRELLAS SECRETAS DEL CASTILLO, eso me hizo darme cuenta que me faltaba una de esas) ahí podrán ver si les falta estrellas del nivel o las de las 100 monedas. Razing knife I had the exact same problem. Try going to big boo's mansion and go upstarirs to the luigi painting. After you do get the invincible cap and follow the boo's screech. You should see a painting at the end of the hallway. Go to it with the invisibility ability and collect the star behind it.

I had a dream about the last secret star I needed... Ok so you go to the snowman level (3 stars) and open the door and only a painting of 1 snowman should be there and jump into it. You will find yourself in a micro level with 8 red coins needed and they will be found on two mountains and on the ground. When I get all the stars MARIO DIES and princess peach comes over and puts him on a piece of metal with wheels and then I don’t know how but Mario comes back to life and then you go to unlock the cannon. You go into the cannon hole and there is a room and it tells you how to use it but then I started suffocating in my sleep! So then it magically transports me to real life and I meet the supposed creator of super Mario 64 who is a 107 year old man and he is celebrating the anniversary of his game. Yes I can tell you think I am weird but idk what goes on in my head I’m just a 12 year old Mario fan. Lol!

I FOUND THE 150st STAR!!!!! It was in the secret level under the castle. There is a black block in front of the castle I forgot :D

OMG I FINALLY HAVE 150!!!! It turns out I was missing the 3rd toad star on the top floor. Could of sworn I got that,but I didn't. I'm so happy I finally beat this freaking game!!!!
