For the glitch at 9:23, I remember there was a way to enter the box without triggering it to load the scene inside the ship. It was manyyy years ago but I think you had to long jump and hit the side of the wall of the black box that you would normally enter. This would cause ur character to fall into the hole but you wont enter the level so from what I remember you could walk around within it but nothing would happen.

I remember doing tons of glitches with yoshi exclusively. If you throw an egg the same time as jumping on a Goomba, he holds an invisible box. And sometimes things get weird and things unload for some reason, like coins. Also, if you swallow a star with yoshi in midair and land on a Goomba, you can keep the star in your mouth as long as you keep jumping as soon as you touch the ground. You can spit the stars out and they just fly into oblivion, but you can't collect them anymore. Another one is swallowing a Goomba while jumping into a cannon. Yoshi's face gets extremely glitched.

I also remember hard locking the game in mushroom mountain. Grabbing the monkey with a character using the wario hat and using the metal power up, jump into the water until it runs out. For some reason, the monkey takes your hat and leaves wario hatless, even though that should revert you to your previous form. If you grab a power flower like this, the game crashes.

Fun Fact: The Infinite Lives Glitch actually is only possible on version 1.0 of the game, so if any other version, it will give you 0 lives.

There's a way to softlock the game in Sunshine Isles. Play as Yoshi and get all the silver stars and get hit by the Pirahna Plant. Tongue the lost Silver Star before the Power Star disappears. The game should softlock. Wasn't able to replicate it :/.

About the wario in dire dire docks, you don't need to slide down to walk underwater. You can also just keep running until you fall of the edge of the ship and you'll have the same result.

Yo I just found out if you are in a specific point at the castle, jump and while in the air, press L and R at the exact same time and for a random reason the game will crash. I’m guessing it’s because the camera can’t scroll and doing a ground pound while the game is trying to turn the camera to face Yoshi( I think the glitch only works with Yoshi ) causes it to stop thinking and crash (note: this won’t work on the Wii U virtual console version of SM64DS

I found this glitch in bomb obm battlefield but heres some stuff i had when this glitch happened . I had 141 stars . I had all of the characters unlocked . And i was playing as yoshi But heres the werid part i when i played star 2 in bomb oom battlefield but when i joined as yoshi i saw on the map 2 mario caps so i grabbed 1 but when i grabbed the other i got a 1 up i don't witch what caused this

That's actually a feature. You can do it with 1 star to and no characters. It's not a glitch. Your welcome if you didn't know that. Tell me anything about the game that I know of for the least. And I shall ask... How many days did it take you to find all 150 stars. It only took me 10 days, thanks to dumb rng with the 8 glowing rabbits. And some strategy too. With only 1 guide usage.

No a lot of the physics engine and collision data was redone which is why all of these new glitches are there the biggest thing they redid was capping the negative speed a character can have which completely patched BLJs which was all about gaining tons of negative speed by long jump backwards quickly against walls or on slopes
