Every time someone mentions the white door, or Peach, or Waluigi, I tend to hate the world slightly 0.0001% more. :)

Waluigi is in the game, you can play as him if you go into the fourth door after you get every star while playing with the controller upside down and balancing an egg carton on top of your head, them re-play the bonus levels on a full moon and then have an orchestra play a shitty song in the background . Once you’ve done that, glitch out of the map and you should find a secret white door, glitch through that and you should be introduced into a bonus level that will unlock peach. Once you’ve completed that, return back and you should have Waluigi unlocked.

@@darkmatter8712 Yep. Mario is still required to finish the Bowser stages, and the reasons to unlock Luigi and Wario are to collect every Stars and for the better ending. It’s most likely original version that’s canon, the sequels Sunshine and Galaxy follow the original version of 64.

It was not obvious. The ? block was well hidden and not easy to notice at first glance. Wario was however easy to find once you unlock Luigi. Mario 64 was most likely the canon version of the game however.

I had trouble finding Wario and needed a guide for him too but had I carefully looked in the mirror room I would've figured it out haha. I was a little pissed with myself that I missed it! Lol. I was going around all the courses to see if there was a Wario painting similar to Mario and Luigi.

You don't actually need to complete the first mission in big boos haunt. You can triple jump up to the second floor in the first mission, then wall jump to the 3rd floor, and get Luigi with 15 stars.

A little while into the Chief Chilly fight to unlock Wario, I realized something. The levels to unlock the characters were all based around THEM! Mario stomps TONS of Goombas, so his stage is based around Goombas and his boss is also a giant Goomba named Goomboss. Luigi is a full-time ghostbuster, so his painting was in Big Boo's Haunt, and his boss was King Boo, who, surprise, surprise, finally got his revenge on Luigi for defeating King Boo in the Luigi's Mansion games. And I don't know, Wario just likes winter, I guess...? Alright, Nintendo, congratulations for you, that's a "cool" and funny thing to add! *The jingle that plays after a bad pun on the channel Dr. Wily plays* Aw, come on, it was a good joke! +Bun101 Yoshi can use his tongue, make eggs, and flutter jump; Mario can wall kick; Luigi can do a sort of flutter jump, do an improved backflip, and run on water for a short time; and Wario can break the large black bricks. They also have different abilities when they get that flower powerup. Yoshi will spit fire, Mario will become a balloon or be able to fly, Luigi becomes invisible, and Wario turns into metal and essentially becomes invincible.
