the way Mario reaches his hand out in some of the animations is really creepy to me, and the animations where he suffocates or sinks are unnerving too. seeing a happy-go-lucky guy like Mario die like that is awful :(

The reason why he doesn't die cartoonishly like this is because 3d was a whole new thing back in the day they didn't know how to animate him falling off the screen like that, so they just made it simple and realistix where he just falls down and dies

based on SM64 Shindou version, yeah that one version that fixes the blj now added brand new voice sounds, actually the reason mario sounds high pitched, its not cause of that, charles actually had some very high pitched voiced, usa version lower pitches marios voice
