It weird part, Super Mario All Star + Super Mario World only released in USA and Europe, not Japan. I can see why Japan couldn’t didn’t used Super Mario All Star + Super Mario World when USA made it on SNES of additional different Luigi Sprite that all instead Mario sprite from original version, but Japan made Super Mario All Star only and released on Wii for 25 anniversary for Super Mario All Star only and it exactly the same as SNES lol, only difference is additional controllers you can use Wii remote or with Nunchuck, Classic Controller, and GameCube controller. (Should have added more like Super Mario World 🙄😒) is this Nintendo fault or Miyamoto fault? Because I don’t know who did it.

Skull Kid I know that what I said Super Mario World wasn’t in Super Mario All Star (original) when Japan made it and when it came to the Wii for anniversary they just used All Star (original) from SNES not Super Mario All Star + Super Mario World that was only released in USA and Europe. Try to search Super Mario All Star + Super Mario World, I wished they send that in USA as anniversary on Wii instead original that didn’t had Super Mario World there.

It's just a rom of Super Mario All-Stars on a disc. I feel uneasy just thinking about all the unused space that's left on that disc.

The game is only 12 megabytes of a 4.7 gigabyte disc, small enough that you can eject the disc and it still runs!

I have played all the way through my copy of *Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World* for SUPER NINTENDO, plus I have my "other" set of custom "All-Star" faves for SNES: Super Mario World: Return to Dinosaur Land, Super Demo World: The Legend Continues, Super Mario World: Lost Levels, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Tetris Attack. I...... might buy this Wii re-release for posterity's sake one day in the future, but not for quite awhile.

this should have been on virtual console. a snes game can hold up to 4mb or something. a wii disc can hold up all the way to 6 GB. include super mario world next time. and allow us for classic controller use and change the layout picture of the snes controls to wiimote or classiccontroller when selecting your save for a game. jeez is it that hard, you could have released this on virtual console. is it that hard, nintendo is so lazy for turning a snes game into a wii game with no smw and not on virtual console. omg give me a break.

I'm pretty sure you can use the Classic and GameCube controllers for this game, since I think it just uses the Virtual Console SNES emulation, just with support for the Wii Remote alone and no Operations Guide. Still, it's lazy that the graphics weren't altered one bit.
