When we land in World 5, things don't appear to be that difficult. Sure, it's not a breeze like it was last time, but that doesn't mean that it's all that bad. But the difficulty curve goes up with the altitude in this world, and it is a long way up.
Yes, the sky half to this kingdom has so many ways for the good guys to fall. There's the obvious issue of not having a lot of land to work with, but enemies can also fly in to do a good job of cornering you. In some cases, one mistake is one more than you can make, so watch your step.
Finally, thank goodness for restore points. Whereas W4 was done in one straight recording, W5 took seven clips thanks to how many secrets and extra stuff I wanted to show off. I don't think any other world reaches that mark, even the final one. Yeesh.

I hate this world. The ground levels were fun enough, especially messing around with Goomba's Shoe in 5-3, but all of the levels in the sky were an absolute nightmare for me. Never knew that you could kill the Para-beetles before now, so that was interesting to see. I'm also very thankful that game-breaking glitch with the airship was fixed with future releases, because I did die to the airship level and Roy himself a few times, and it did end up flying down to the ground portion of the map after the first loss.

I remember the airship flying down to the ground when I got beat, and when I entered the skytower, I was surprised how it went when I entered it from the sky, it was short, so if the airship leaves the ground, and then goes up to the sky, get ready to go through the sky tower again, even though it was probably hard work. If you ask me, I also do not like going through the sky levels, because I think I do have to be careful not to fall at the sky part. Someone showed a video that the ground portion and sky portion of the World 5 map act as one area. If you did a game genie code to move freely on the map, on the ground portion, if you keep moving to the right, you will appear on the left side of that map, but you can do the sky levels, but their tiles will appear as invisible on the map, but on the sky portion, if you keep moving to the left, you will appear on the right side of that map, but you can do the ground levels, but their tiles will appear as invisible on the map.

One thing to point out, since I don't yet know if you do it yourself: The Japanese version of World 5-1 ends at a pipe, with the goal in a sub-area. However, that sub-area is in the same room as the chest with the Music Box, opening up a glitch that could net you a fourth Whistle.

Hey Bean1227, 5-8 is short, but it's tricky to complete without getting hit, so don't feel bad if you get hit once.

You forgot those blocks before going into tunnel all those blocks if you have a P-wing there is a P in those blocks and you can get a bunch of coins on World 5 level 7😉

This is my most favorite world in this game. However, this is more suitable as World 7 due to the difficulty of sky part of this world.

I remember when I was in kindergarten, I saw my brother reached the sky part of the level, and I thought the sky part was World 6. At the sky part, there's no level 1-3, the bottom still says "World 5," and the sky tower had no boss, so the sky part is still World 5.

World 5 is an absolute great world with a special place in my hearth because of consisting out of two parts, But why they didn’t put in a grassland levels and why they didn’t put in a coin heaven level in the first part of world 5? If they had done just that, then the first part of world 5 would,ve be more in line with the second part of it,but still, it’s a great world nontheless.

How do you get the whistle in World 5?

That's only in the original Japanese copy since 5-1's layout is different at the end. It uses a screen transition pipe that doesn't exist in our version. If you look up "SMB3 fourth whistle", you can see how to get that glitched item.

My goal is to show as much as I can off in games. In this particular case, it's to demonstrate how the Anchor works. Sure enough, I wound up having questions about that item in previous videos. The real run of the airship starts at 23:00, and outside of intentionally letting Roy catch Mario flatfooted, that stage was taken down with no trouble.
