This Princess Peach from Super Mario Movie is no damsel in distress like the original Princess Peach from the games as she proved to be a very skill fighter and independent as she rescued herself instead of waiting for Mario to dave her.

The way Peach desperately yelled out "NO!" in fear, worry & concern with a little bit of heartbreak after she thought Mario got burned to death by Bowser's flame breath when Mario & Luigi swan dived to the Super Star at the last second before the smoke clears shows that she really was in love & have feelings for him! 😄🤭❤

I hope there's a sequel where Daisy appears. I can totally picture the two becoming butt-kicking sisters. Bowser would hate it, though. 😂

I too am hoping that Princess Daisy will be in second Mario movie. Yes, I'd like to see her and Peach team up together. But I'd also love to see Daisy and Luigi falling in love with each other.

Same here Daisy! I like how she has been giving a strong role in this movie. Hopefully the sequel will give you a chance to shine as well since Yoshi is hinted in the End Credit.

Aw man, the writers of this movie missed a great opportunity for Peach to give Bowser a witty, snappy comeback right after Bowser shouted, "Then we are breaking up right now!" Especially since everyone has been waiting for Bowser to finally give up being in a relationship with her throughout the Mario video games for so many years. They could've had Peach respond to him with something like, "That's my line!" or "Right back at you!" or "Music to my ears!" or "Finally, I've been waiting forever for you to say that!" or "I forgot the part where that is my problem."

That is Miymoto’s attention to give Peach a strong women’s role instead of being your typical damsel in distress in past Mario games. I can only hope the upcoming Zelda movie does go for that risky route and give Princess Zelda a chance to shine. Let alone, a slow burned relationship between Link and Zelda (where they started out as friends… til they grew to become lovers as their journey progressed).
